- The campus I liked it's very huge and full of trees and plantations
- The cafeteria is also good has many eating options
- Mess is also good the food quality is above average
Dislikes
- The girls to boys ratio is very less it should be better
- In summers it's very hot to live in campus, the rooms must have been air conditioned
- The classrooms are less there are only 6 lecture halls for whole colllege
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is up to date for the core courses, for as I know, but for the common courses, such as mathematics, physics in first sem, electrical sub in the first sem, it's pretty old but not that old, it doesn't feel old.
Internships Opportunities
I have not done any internship yet, but the internships are pretty good for what I have heard from seniors in companies like nvidia, Google but you have to work really hard to get in that the competition is really high.
Placement Experience
The placements are pretty average in our college for CSE, EEE,MNC, AI placements are top notch like really good but for bramches such as mechanical, civil the placements are average, not that good. the college has placement drive in two phases.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees per year for obc/gen is 135000, for sc/st/pwd it's 35,000 or for people having avg income below 5lpa is also 35000. Scholarship is both merit and condition-based for anyone having AIR below 2000 in JEE adv full education is free.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is one of the main highlight in our college, it's very good and pretty new, plus the main highlight of our college is it's research culture the club's in our college are very active throughout the year various competitions are held, social life is also good ISMP is held in first sem to make students used to to the campus
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility overall is good the rooms are spacious , the toilets and bathroom are regularly cleaned , plus there are laundary services in each hostel , the only. Problem is that the hostels do not have AC facility.
Admission
This is the college which I wanted to be in, I didn't dream of going to any other iit because I knew my performance in JEE adv it's was not that good, plus this college is the nearest IIT to which I was getting admission to my home.
Faculty
The faculty is very good and pretty experienced almost everyone having a PhD degree from old iits or iisc banglore which makes them trust worthy there are 2 quizez for most of the courses in our college a midsem examination and an endsem examination
Night Life
The night life in campus is good but outside is not good ,the college is 6-7 kms away from.ropar city which becomes one of the cons of our college and also in ropar city there are not much options , chandigarh is a better option for night life.
