Faculties and labs are also very good for research.

Dislikes

There could be more options of resturant in the campus only.
Little bit far from main ropar city for travel

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course according to my rank, IIT ROPAR Civil Engineering was the best one. Faculty: student ratio=1:5 The faculties of this college are highly qualified with degrees from the prestigious institutes of the world. 1 semester is approx 4 months. After 2 months we have mid sems, And in between we have quizzes, viva, etc.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For 4 years of btech course, the overall fees will go up to 9-10 lakhs which include tuition fees, hostel fees, and mess fees. I don't apply for a scholarship yet but there are various options for scholarships in between 4 years.

Campus Life

Annual fest(November) is Zeitgeist, Tech fest(March) name is Aarohan. There are plenty of books and journals in the library available all the time. The classroom is very big with highly advanced technology. Sports facilities are very good, there are various indoor and outdoor sports. There are various clubs in the college in terms of tech clubs, literally clubs as well as cultural clubs to take part in. Examples are Arturo, Alpha, debsoc, dcypher, Vibgyor, alankar, fincom, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities are provided with a highly qualified background. Meal quality is also very good in a mess as well as a canteen and another cafeteria. The hostel allotment process was very simple. It costs only 1500/- per semester.

Hostel Fee: INR 3000 per year

Admission

I have cleared JEE ADVANCED 2023 to get into this college. I got into this college in JOSAA COUNSELLING. The campus is well-developed with a lot of research opportunities and all the processes during admission were very smooth.

Coding ninja took 6 student , dell took 30 and wirpo took 600 It's around 50lpa and avg package would be around 5/6 lpa and the role was sde . 90% students get placed easily I'm planning for learning japanese and go for masters in japan

A decent college with an affordable fees structure.

Placement Experience:

There are a few companies which visit our college for placements. Some of them offer a good package and while the others are also mass recruiters. The average package is ?4,50,000 per annum and some companies all offer quite higher packages. The college have mentioned a highest package of ~?65,00,000 per annum. Students are eligible for placement in 4th year. Atleast 30-40% of the students are placed. I have planned for higher studies are completing my course from this college.

From 6th sem students actual placements critieria started . Elitmus etc. type of exams started but intership in big companies like microsoft , google come in 5 th sem. But they choose only 1 person . Many companies visited in this university with average package of 7-8 lakhs . Mostly 80% students get placed. Highest package till is 45 lakhs . If i get placed then ok going with them but if not places then i will go abroad

The best out of best about iit ropar

I applied to iit gandhinagar electrical engineering and got rejected as my jee advanced rank was not as par as required to take the course.the admission process of our college is based on an examination called jee advanced and if u get a good rank and pass that examination u can enter our college.i also applied for iit hyd,iit jodhpur etc in which I have got an admission in another branch as I said earlier as I like the electrical engineering branch I joined iit ropar .or college might be worst in sports in comparison to other iits but they are always better than other iits in reasearch orientation side...Read More
