Bachelor's degree in Sanskrit with a minimum of 50% marks; OR
Sanskrit as a subject under Part I or Part II / minor / optional in the Bachelor's degree; OR

SC/ST candidates who have passed the qualifying examination are eligible to apply irrespective of the percentage of marks obtained.
Candidates awaiting their final year results may also apply; however, they must produce the mark sheet/degree certificate before the date notified by the university, failing which provisional admission will be cancelled.
