- Lab work and some fets and a little bit of creativity in University non academic circumstances.
- Hostels were good for only food and resting.
- Some students interaction was good and helpful too
Dislikes
- Teachers strict habit of teaching in a fearful way.
- Not maintaining good descent security in hostel leading to fights
- Classes timings were inappropriate and seniors were the worst.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Preparation for industrial training done .A lot of improvement and implementation to be done to the course of biotechnology and the exams to be done with more gaps in between and timming better.

- It is an anti ragging as well as tobacco and alcohol free campus
- Cleanliness and weekly mosquito repellent

- Girls:boys ratio is 70:30 respectively but it though fluctuates per year
- Their are gym facilities provided to the students but there are no proper gym trainers
- Nothing more to dislike about the campus it's all good

Course Curriculum Overview:
This course is the best for whom who didn't clear the NEET exam and have been opted as PCB rather than. PCMB. This course is the best for them..
It provides lots to enthusiasm to the students to learn about different scientific aspects of human as well as animals physiology

- The Lab facilities in the department are really good, and it gives a chance to all the students to get hands on experience.
- The Professors here at KSBT are highly qualified and are approachable too.
Dislikes
- If you are looking for a corporate job or industry job after your degree completion, then do not expect a high paying job right away. As a fresher you cannot expect a high CTC.
- The management here pushes you for a career in research rather than in industry. Which is good for research oriented students but proves to be a challenge for those looking for industry exposure.
Placement Experience:
From the 9th Semester students are eligible for Placements.
There are various companies which visit KSBT
- Intas, Zifo, Promea, GSK, Nestle etc.
The Average Package in KSBT for a fresher is around 3.5 Lakhs per annum. Do not expect a high paying job as soon as you graduate.
Most students do get placed here in KSBT, that is the number of students sitting for placements. Many opt for research opportunities too.

- The faculty is well fit for their designated subjects.
- The environment is very good. Not only towards jobs, they also support entrepreneurship. They take care of growth in all domains.
- The labs are very well equipped, cleaned and maintained.
Dislikes
- The campus is bit away from the main campus, which keeps us quite cut off from the events taking place.
- The campus is near a dumping yard, due to which bad smell comes sometime.
- Compared to other campus of kiit, This campus is very poorly decorated.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placements from 9th semester. The average package was 3.5 lpa and highest was 11 lpa. Top recruiters usually are nesCafe, HCL, IPCA, nestle, in DNA etc. Almost 75 to 80% students were placed. Many got selected in GATE exam. Many got government exams
my plan is preparing for GATE exam. Some started their own startups as well.

- The Labs are well upto dated, enough materials and advanced instruments are available
- The campus infrastructure is okay but can improved further
- Faculties as a person and behavior are polite and provide good mentorships

- The environment is not healthy for a student.
- The student to student bond and interaction are toxic
- Faculties are highly qualified and talented but most of them lack teaching ability
Placement Experience:
Staring from the 5th year or the ending of 4th year a well deserved students gets it's placement. The companies including Ziffo, Enzene, Nestle, Himalaya and many more has come for placement. They provide 3LPA-6LPA or can increase more in near future. Even though kiit claims 100% placement but less than 50% gets the actual placement depending on the companies vacancies. My plans includes sitting for placement and working to again knowledge.

- Laboratory facilities are unparalleled to any other institution throughout India. The equipments and quality of education specifically are comparable to the global standards.
- Professors are really helpful and they always have your back in whatever academic pursuit you undertake.
- Course materials are designed as such they match with the current trends and really help to build a successful career in the field of biotechnology and other related fields.
Dislikes
- The campus is slightly isolated from other B.Tech department campuses which makes socializing difficult, but definitely not impossible.
- Campus placements have been average at best and needs an overhaul for improvement.
Placement Experience:
Students in and after the 9th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. The companies visiting are numerous to name a few, Nutaste Group, Himalaya, BVG life sciences, Enzene biosciences, Promea therapeutics, GSK, Nestle, Zifo, Virchow Biotech, Larkai Healthcare, Pristyncare, Cryoviva Biotech, Actylis India, Elvikon, Bogmalo Foods, Intas Pharmaceuticals, 4basecare and many more. Offers were also made to more than 95% of the students opting for placements.
The highest placement package I am aware of is 15 LPA and on an average everyone gets an offer of 4-5 LPA.
At least 95+% students are placed from our department every year.
My plans after the degree are to pursue my PhD outside of India.

- Their way of teaching is really good, i think KSBT has the best faculty among all other streams.
- The exposure and placement opportunities are even great
- There is no bullying or ragging in the campus
Placement Experience:
Campus gets good placement offers like people from AMAZON and OTHER GOOD COMPANIES come over, and the percentage of students getting on-campus placements is really high, my plans after getting the degree is to opt for an MBA and do further studies.

Placement trainings are organised by the Placement department. They are trained and tests are taken frequently. Companies start visiting at the end of the pre final year of the course usually. Almost 95% students get placed. Other students usually go for higher studies.

- The style of teaching is so good. And the class notes as well as ppts were too helpful.
- Faculties are too helpful. If we have any problem we can contact our mentor also.
- Our campus has a peaceful environment and sports complex.
Dislikes
- Sometimes the cleaning in the hostel not happen regularly.
- The food quality sometimes decreases and it even remain raw.

Students can sit for placement in the final year the second last semester.
Many well-known companies e.g.- Nestle, Bharat Biotech, and many other food companies.
The average package is almost 2 LPA and the highest is 7 LPA.
More than 80% of students got placement and others chose higher study.

Remarks:
It has an impeccable service overall. It has wonderful lab facilities and is a world class University. The problem is that being a private institution it doesnot have any student lobby to address any grievances. The admission procedure is through KIITEE which takes place every year in November. The reason of preferring this over others is its world class facilities and it was even near to my native place.

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
KIIT University offers good placement opportunities for all the students of the university. However, the placement package offered to B.Com students are lesser compared to other technical and management students.
