As mentioned earlier different courses have different curriculum. Everything in academic runs as per the credit rule. Every courses are either of credit or audit. Credits means some sort of weightage. Generally each theory courses are of 6 credits and lab courses are of 3 credits. And there are different type of courses. Core courses which are compulsory, one have to complete all the core courses before graduation else he/she cannot graduate. The core courses are related to the department he/she is in. The next are electives . We have department electives, institute electives , open electives and specialization elective. Electives are those courses which one can choose while registration by there course content or grading statistics. Department elective are electives if the department. Institute electives are electives of the other departments excluding your own department same is the open electives. And if you are dual degree student that is if you are doing both mtech + btech you ha.

Predefined curriculum weightage and flexiblility in terms of choosing course and ability to modify it during a specified durations. Curriculum is well organised and prepares for real world applications. Course curriculum and teaching methods are great and only some things are needed to change. Exams are generally 2-3 quizzes and 1 Midsem + 1 Endsem and there might be a course project.

The course curriculum prepares a student for real world problems, and are also suitable for those who want to pursue academics further. The curriculum keeps on changing keep in mind the latest fields and requirements in the external world. The only drawback is that the curriculum of Electrical Engineering is more hectic than other branches.
there was a hike in prices to double the fees this year onwards which I think is quite high for a middle standard family because the lower family gets away with the tuition fee and the rich could afford it but the left is the common middle family who doesn't come under any slab.
