Faculty is very good who provides you best and better knowledge
Bvdu offers multiple choice of companies to its students as bvdu is one of the best university and provide the best placements to big tech companies like college dunia hcl, del, mahindra and mahindra upgrade, and many more.
Tution fee increased by 5% every year it costs almost about 28-30 lakhs for entire degre some scholarship for ews is available a very good internship programme is available which doesn't have any stipends but experience gained is worth it.

Dislikes

Other than fest ,clubs,sports there is no extra curricular we can do.
They don?? conduct extracurricular activities weekly
The overall cost of education is high. Strict regulations for attendance.

Life Of The Student at Bharati Vidyapeeth College Of Engineering, Pune

I love my college campus, it is very big and airy. I always go to campus for evening walks and sometimes to play badminton.
The faculty of our college is very experienced and very soft spoken to us. They always ask if we have any doubts or problems in the session or not. They even help us if we contact them online, they are very willing and helpful.
Our fests are very good and engaging. There are plenty of sports festival and plenty of events like video games or laser tag or paintball. There are also different days for example traditional day, mismatch day things like that.

Dislikes

The things I dislike about my college is the infrastructure of our college the classrooms are pretty old and the benchs are not that good in the condition. The boards and e boards have sometimes problem functioning.
Our labs have very old monitors and CPU's. Most of the time they don't work and also there are plenty of CPU's where the important software are not installed. The labs are small and doesn't always hold the whole class.
Bathrooms are not that clean and also the drinking water is sometimes also not clean. Over the time many of my friends have gotten a little bit sick due to that water.

Placement Experience:

When the students come in the Seventh Semester they are elligible for campus placements. There are many companies that come for the campus placement for example KPMG, FIVER, TCS, MICROSOFT, INFOSYS, Tech Mahindra. They all offer a package of average 870000 inr. The highest package that was offered was by microsoft for 2400000 lpa. There is a 95% of students who got placed rn and there are still companies who are coming and taking students. So the probability of students getting placed is 97%. My plans after getting degree and a job is to live happily and enjoy my life.

I liked the campus and it's amenities provided
I liked the faculties like they are so helpful if you are a good student and wants a platform to showcase your skills
I liked that from all over india students comes that is a good thing like we feel safe and get to learn about various states and their culture

Dislikes

Average package can be more better that could enhance placement apportunity
Area where College is located is not that good that area is not so developed

Placement Experience:

Overall placement are good according to our college data every year more than 80% students gets placed and some big companies like juspay,jp morgan,icon resources,axtria also comes for placement who give more than 20 lakhs package.but overall avg package is around 6 LPA

Likes

the canteen, library and reading hall are the most appreciated aspects for me
teaching of the faculty is good, they help to solve our doubts whenever a student has one and they encourage student teacher interaction
the placements are good. Their is a seperate training and placement cell which is ran by students as well as teachers which help us to grab internship

Dislikes

I love spending time with myself and enhancing my skills in reading hall, there are sometimes i face difficulties due to the wifi.
The labs are the ones which should be worked upon, atleast on my floor. The computers dont work most of the time

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are provided to students from 6th semester onwards. The companies which visit our college for recruitments are TCS,Wipro, IBM, Accenture, JIO, paytm and many more companies. The minimum package given to this year pass out student was 4-5 LPA and highest was around 10-11 LPA. The percentage of student placed from our batch this year was roughly 95%. After getting the degree i wish to do masters from abroad or get a placement through campus

The campus of my college is amazing with Clean and Green campus. Regular cleaning is done on the roads as well as the clasrooms

Dislikes

The extra charges for the End sem exams as well as the fee they take from the students is also high

Placement Experience:

Companies like TCS, CAPGEMINI, ACCENTURE, ICICI LOMBARD, etc companies dp visit every year. students become eligible for placement after 6th semester. The average package of this college is 6 LPA. The highest package was 25 LPA last year in 2023-24 campus placement drive.

I personally liked the course structure of this college
It has a good campus and there are many exciting clubs
It has a very good fest called bhartiyam which is awesome and seniors are also helpfull

Dislikes

Placement can be more better according to their potential

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent. A student who does good gets placed. Companies come for placements but they does not offer very much but you will get placed in any comapany. Average packagr is nearly 5 lakhs and thats it

The faculties over here are really helpful and always hold our back strengthening us in our studies

Dislikes

The non - teaching staff is not very polite with the students. You will always get a rough answer to a soft question asked by you

Placement Experience:

Campus placement so far in the past 4-5 years have been good enough even though there's been a downfall in the Engineering industry. Students are getting placed with a good average package. Last year's placement rate was 86%

Campus size of our college is very big as it's almost spread over 50 acres
Faculty members are very co-operative and kind to students
Modern labs are available and equipped with latest PC's

Dislikes

Being a cricket lover you want a good facility to play cricket but here cricket pitches are not that much good
In hostel 3 seated rooms are available not single or double bedded room are there
If you want to wander out of the college then you will not be happy with the strict management of the college as after 9 p.m no one is allowed to go outside the college campus

Placement Experience:

Big companies like microsoft and google do not visit this college and it is obvious. But except 2-3 major companies all other companies like samsung, IBM, Amazon visit every year. And if we talk about the average package then it is decent as it is around 7.5 laks per annum

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Likes

The college has a vast collection of books in the library and these are available to students free of charge for borrowing.
Each department has multiple labs for practical learning.
The placements are on par with other private engineering colleges.

Dislikes

The Traning and placement cell could use more full time dedicated employees.
The curriculum could be little more updated.
I won't mind having more aptly qualified faculty.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

Firstly,I like the campus life it's very happening and you also get a chance to learn more things in this campus.You also get a chance to interact with other people and learn more things from them .here you gets a opportunity to follow passion.
Secondly,the teacher behaviour is very friendly.They encourage you to follow your dreams.They aslo teach very well.also they also help us in placement and intership time.
Quality of Infrastructure: Campus Amenities and Learning Facilities like equipped with Smart board, projects,and e-resources for research and self study.there is also a computer lab , laboratory.Also provide case studies, intership to built skills.

Dislikes

Overemphasis on academics, leaving little time for recreational or cultural engagement.limited connection with top tier companies.
lack of flexibility in choosing elective subject.Overload of theoretical content with limited hands-on or practical exposure.
Poor maintenance of campus amenities like hostels, cafeterias, or sports facilities.

Placement Experience:

High placement rate with most students securing jobs in reputed companies .intership leading to pre-placement offer for many students.Focus on building employa skills through projects, certifications, or internships.plans for pursuing higher studies and degree like post graduate degree.also participate in various fields or online platform like linkedin or job portals to explore opportunity.

Firstly i would like to say that I love the infrastructure of the college as it's the first thing to notice as a newbie . There are many floors and beautifully designed with cafe coffee day and food truck for the students
Secondly the welcome given by the teachers and students was very welcoming and friendly. The activities and fest and programs in the college are very enthusiastic.
Last and the main thing is that the studies and attendance are strictly followed making the students disciplined and responsible . All the lectures are taken properly and notes are provided timely.

Dislikes

A little too strict about attendance and the online attendance portal.
The timing of the college is too long restricting the students for extra internships or courses.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main thing is how the student score good marks for example my seniors 90% of the people scored 9 cpa and secured a good package. They were my motivation firstly and the teachers who made them that capable. For improving the course I would suggest if the level of examination was a little easy and proper 5 months before the exam is conducted it would be helpful for the students .

I have a friend who completed his engineering program from BVDU, Pune back in 2018. Here is a brief overview of the college based on his experience at the institute.

Campus- The campus is beautiful. Before it became deemed to be a university it used to be among the best colleges under PU.
College life- Academic-wise, the practical portion is generally neglected. BVDU follows the PU submission pattern, so you'll be compelled to finish your assignments before the deadline.
Crowd- My friend mentioned that due to the crowd, BVDU always stood superior to the IITs in Pune because here you would come across people who belong to diverse backgrounds and mindsets. This diversification shapes your personality.
Faculty- It is pretty average. But for someone who carries a thirst to learn, they would not be disappointed. The HOD and professors are no doubt excellent. But the biggest drawback is that they don’t put in 100% effort.
Placements- In case you're someone with excellent coding skills, the companies that show up may give you a chance, Students from ECE, IT, CS has decent placement record. You can try to work on your communication skills, build your LinkedIn network and contribute your work in the final year. The average salary received by students was 7 LPA while the highest package was 54 LPA.

All in all, it may not be the best college in Pune, but you'd come across several people from different backgrounds and the faculty quality is also good. You can definitely consider it as an option.
