My College Review

My keen interest towards technology and computers made me choose this course. The only drawback for us is that they tell us to write loads of assignments which is really hectic. Although looking at the difficulty level of exams, the exams are pretty much easier to clear if studied well. The unit tests are conducted in the duration of 3 days, 2 paper on each day and 1 final paper on last day. We get proper amount of Preparation leave for end sem exams and they are conducted well.

There are various internship opportunities provided by the colleges, the teacher also personally tell us about internship opportunities. some companies don't offer a stipend while others provide around 8-9k per month.

The placement opportunities are provided to students from 6th semester onwards. The companies which visit our college for recruitments are TCS,Wipro, IBM, Accenture, JIO, paytm and many more companies. The minimum package given to this year pass out student was 4-5 LPA and highest was around 10-11 LPA. The percentage of student placed from our batch this year was roughly 95%. After getting the degree i wish to do masters from abroad or get a placement through campus

the year wise fees i paid for my branch or course at the time of admission was 1,95,000 per year. It included the tution fees, admission fees, registration fees, lab fees etc. An additional 6000 rupees were taken for uniform and library fees. The fees were same for everyone although it differed branch wise. The fees for Computer, computer science, information technology computer science and business manangement were same but a little less for other branches like chemical, electronic and telecommunication, robotics etc. Scholarships are provided for he students with low income or SC/ST and the students residing in maharashtra. They can be availed with the help of admission centre

The fest which is conducted yearly in our college is BHARTIYAM. This fest lasts around a week and events, which include technical and non technical ones, AUTO- EXPO, competitions with prices are conducted. Different days like traditional day, mismatch day, retro day, bollywood day were held and each department performed flashmobs, on traditional day there was dhol tasha. The teachers also participate in these events with us which is a plus point. Talking about the library, the library include all kind of books relevent to each course and curriculum which can be accesed by students as well as teachers for a duration of 15 days which can be exceeded later. Each Department has seperate floor, seperate classrooms with smartboards and have labs for performing practicals.

The reason I chose this college were that i due to some personal issues and problems scored less marks in MHT-CET, JEE and other competetive exams which made it difficult to get admission into other colleges. BVPCOEP conducted a personal CET exam on the basis of which I was selected. They also considered 12th boards marks(minimum 65% required PCM or Physics, chemistry, and computer science(vocational course)). The admission was done merit based and the branches were alloted on the basis of first come first serve. The student with higher merit rank was prioritized first.

The faculty to student ratio in our batch would be around 1:3. The faculty is good and helps us with our doubts. They are friendly and encouraging. They encourage student teacher interaction which helps us to clear our doubts then and their. All the faculty members are good i wont like to disciminate but the ones i personally like with respect to the way of teaching, behaviour are bhole sir and priyanka mam, they taught us C programming and dsa. There are 2 unit tests and one final end semester paper in one same, which are easy to clear if studied well, other than that their are projects for each subjects, oral and practical exams for some subjects and assignments.

The nightlife of our college is good. There are hostel gym which are open till midnight for girls, the canteens are open till 8pm and the library is accessible till 6pm after college hours. Overall people can roam aorund campus 24/7 since bharati hospital is close by and thus people come around to have a walk in fresh air.
