I can give you some ideas about the two institutes as I have friends at both BVP and MAIT.

• Location-wise, BVP is way better than MAIT, since BVP is located in the outskirts of Rohini
• The number of societies and the number of cultural events held on the campus are more in BVP compared to MAIT.
• The infrastructure such as classrooms etc is better at BVP than MAIT.
• Talking about the attitude of the students, it will be somewhat similar at both the colleges. And, for the attitude of the teachers, you will not find much difference either.
• However, when it comes to quality of education and placements, MAIT steals the show. According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at BVP and MAIT is 1 LPA and 3.5 LPA.

There are not many factors that make one college stand out. So, choose either of these two institutes according to your convenience.

You will probably not find any clear-cut packages from the college. You will have to develop your skills in the four years of your college life and market those. The recruiters usually hire students on this basis.

However, you will realize that if you have a passion for engineering, you will like to study at Bhartiya Vidyapeeth college. The faculty is good with excellent quality of education. This will enable you to develop the skills you require.

When it comes to placements - 

• The college places more than 90% of its students in companies like Ernst & Young, ZS Associates, and a few startups as well. 
• They had an average package of INR 4.25 LPA to INR 6 LPA.
• On the day of our recruitment, most of the students were placed in TCS with an average package of INR 3.25 lakhs per annum. 
• A few other companies that also hired students included Compro technologies, Indigo, CB & I, Global Logic, etc. All of these had an average package of INR 4 lakhs per annum.

The college tries its best to ensure that each and every student gets placed. If you are unable to be present for on-campus recruitment, they do assist with off-campus links which will help you.

First, you should decide which branch you want to pursue Mechanical or CSE, as that would help you choose the institute.

Thapar University which is the foremost university for Mechanical in the country ranked 29 among NIRF rankings. On the other hand, Bharati Vidyapeeth and Maharaja Agrasen, both the colleges are the foremost universities for CSE Branch in the country that placed 38th and 114 respectively.

About Courses And Admission:

All the Universities offer a full-time 4-year B.Tech program to the students. The basic eligibility of all the University is the student must have passed the 10+2 examination with any recognized board and the admission will be based on JEE Main Rank.

Both the universities, Bharati Vidyapeeth and Maharaja Agrasen provide good placements CSE Branch.

• Due to the boom in the Software industry IT, graduates are having good placements opportunities.

• The major companies visiting both the campus for recruitment include Maruti Suzuki, Trident, IOCL, Bajaj Motors, Tata Motors, etc with the average package of 5.5 lakhs.
• Almost 80-90% of students get placed in the top MNC companies at Thapar University.

World-class Faculty:

• The faculty members of all three Universities are not only considered amongst the best within the country but also highly recognized for their achievements in the field of science, technology, and research.
• Nearly all faculty members have doctorates and well experienced in their field and also most of the students having extensive industrial & teaching experience in globally renowned organizations & universities.

The CSE and Mechanical department of both the universities conducting professional activities such as organizing workshops, seminars, and expert lectures to gain insight and impart awareness about the challenges in the IT industry. However, considering all the aspects and the associated pros and cons, choice should be made.
