My igntu life

Likes

The fees structure is very less than other universities
The availability of sports ground is good here.

Dislikes

The departments are too far from hostel.
Sometimes the quality of food is not good

Placement Experience:

In the last semester, students became eligible for the campus placement. The companies from Nagpur, Raipur come here to select students by taking the exams and interviewing the students. If the company is interested they give opportunity.

Botany at Igntu

Likes

Almost all departments are good and faculties are well qualified
Staff is pretty much supportive and well behaved.
Weather here is home like and gives a good vibe.

Dislikes

A student feedback cell should be made for feedback
In campus transport should be started for students.
Sports facilities should be improved and maintained

Placement Experience:

Placements in botany are generally very less and students are majorly sent for internships or lab work to work on some projects if the department finds them suitable. Placements from campus are provided well in the department of Vocational courses and management.

Weather is very good here and natire is jst awesome
Everything is available within the campus and at affordable prices.
Various facilities are also available outside the campus

Dislikes

Transport from nearby railway station or bus is difficult
In campus transit should be started for students
More shops for more facilities to students should be opened

Placement Experience:

My department provides placements sometimes all those starting salaries are very low for freshers and companies higher they for experience-only placements opportunities are better in vocational and management courses as well as journalism courses.

Faculty of all the departments is well qualified
The campus has sports complex central library and medical
Park and other facilities are also available.

Dislikes

Medical facilities must be improved in the campus.
Few more shops should be opened for students
A student feedback system should be incorporated everywhere.

Placement Experience:

Placements are urgently provided in the management vocational and Journalism courses my department mainly focuses on lab Research and field work so in my department placements are very less beside this many projects are ongoing within my department which students can join

Environment here is just amazing and feels home like
Almost every facility is available within the campus
Prices for everything are affordable and good.

Dislikes

More shops should be opened within the campus .
In campus transportation should be started.
Mess and food quality should be improved.

Placement Experience:

My Department's main focus is on research work and students are mostly engaged in projects that are sponsored by various funding agencies like DST fast we get ample opportunities for working in labs the teachers are also supportive.

Campus weather is good and feels like home .
Every student from more than 50 kms gets hostel
Things are available at Affordable prices

Dislikes

In campus waling distance is too much here
Gymnasium and library timings are very inappropriate
Transportation charges are high and should be improved

Placement Experience:

My department majorly focuses on lab work and most of the students do their MSc and Ph.D. from here rather than placements we are given part of some projects ongoing which provides a stipend also. Department has various labs too.

Igntu A nice place

Likes

Located in good location and pleasent environment
Living here is quite affordable and seems good
Mother nature is everywhere with a vast variety of plants and animals

Dislikes

In campus transport is zero and walking distance is too much
Mess facilities and canteen facilities must be improved
Easy access to applications and improvement should be implemented

Placement Experience:

The university provides placements for management and vocational courses students like in the sciences department no placements are provided or maybe a few placements are there majorly department work is done.

Nature mother prevails here and feels extreme good.
one can easily concenterate here availing the facility of a central library.

Dislikes

Transportation is very bad here a few jeeps and very less buses.
Water is less suitable to the new comers here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I liked to pursue a career in software development. I was excited to come here exams are held twice a year and the semester is of 6 months. faculty members are good and cooperative.

Likes

The fees Structure is good for all the students of different categories.
The views and location is too good, the oxygen level is very good here.
The teachers are good, there way of talking is awesome with students.

Dislikes

The proctor is too strict here, they took more than proper action
The quality of food they provide is not good
Student have to walk to the department which is very far from the hostel

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good, I choose this subject to go in the field of sports Journalism. The faculty members are good, they are highly qualified in this field, and their teaching methods are good in practice as well as on-paper activities.

Life at Igntu

Likes

The environment is very good every place is covered in dense trees and we have so much facilities like good roads within the campus as well as stationery grocery and general shops one can easily get supplies they want.
Sports facilities are good we have a sports complex with the gymnasium with a gymnasium and many other facilities.
Living here is pretty affordable except luxury things everything can be leived here at a normal price

Dislikes

Transport facilities from railway station pendra to the university should be better they are much much expensive.
Library timings and other official timings should be increased so that student can easily avail all facilities.
The whole University should have only one mess contractor so that student can easily get food whether in the hostel canteen or nearby their departments so they don't get disturbed.and don't need to pay extraa

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are generally provided for management students and some other courses not for my course. But we have ample opportunities after completion of the course . One can pursue masters after completing graduation or can apply for any job in any biotechnical sector or pharma sector or agri sector. I personally recommend to at least get master's degree and then think abt jobs.
