IGNTU PhD Admission Schedule 2025 Out, Check Details Here!

IGNTU, Anuppur invites applications for PhD programs across various disciplines. The entrance exam will be conducted offline at the Main Campus (Amarkantak) and Regional Campus (Imphal). Candidates must apply through the university's website and pay the application fees of INR 700 (General/OBC) and INR 500 (SC/ST/PH). The downloading of admit cards for the entrance examination will start on February 28, 2025, and the Entrance Test will take place on March 5, 2025.

IGNTU PhD Admissions Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process

IGNTU Eligibility Criteria for the PhD Program with Selection Process:

• A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
• Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled/EWS candidates.
• Candidates with a 4-year bachelor’s degree must have at least 75% marks (relaxation of 5% for reserved categories).

Selection Process

Candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR-NET (JRF) or M.Phil with a strong result may be exempted from the entrance test.

Entrance Test (RET)

• Conducted in offline mode at Amarkantak & Imphal campuses.
• A written test of 70 marks with multiple-choice and descriptive questions.

Interview:

• Candidates who clear the entrance test will be called for an interview (30 marks).
• Final Selection

There are 687 seats available for admissions, with 52 seats for Ph.D. in Education, 32 for Chemistry, and varying intakes for other subjects. For more details, visit @igntu.ac.in.
