- The environment is very good every place is covered in dense trees and we have so much facilities like good roads within the campus as well as stationery grocery and general shops one can easily get supplies they want.
- Sports facilities are good we have a sports complex with the gymnasium with a gymnasium and many other facilities.
- Living here is pretty affordable except luxury things everything can be leived here at a normal price
Dislikes
- Transport facilities from railway station pendra to the university should be better they are much much expensive.
- Library timings and other official timings should be increased so that student can easily avail all facilities.
- The whole University should have only one mess contractor so that student can easily get food whether in the hostel canteen or nearby their departments so they don't get disturbed.and don't need to pay extraa
Course Curriculum Overview
This course is for students who are interested in biology and have a technical approach too. I myself like it due to its mix of life and technology. 5 faculty are currently there. All are well qualified and have spent many years abroad in research All are Phd. Semester is of six months as usual and exams are easy to clear if we study on a daily basis
Internships Opportunities
I myself didn't get any internship opportunities but various other departments provide internship opportunities and students go to numerous places in Indore Raipur and Bilaspur Bhopal for internships departments like journalism agriculture business administration and tourism provides ample internship opportunities for students to polish their career.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are generally provided for management students and some other courses not for my course. But we have ample opportunities after completion of the course . One can pursue masters after completing graduation or can apply for any job in any biotechnical sector or pharma sector or agri sector. I personally recommend to at least get master's degree and then think abt jobs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Semester fees is only 2680/ yr for boys and 2400/ yr for girls and additional 300 rs/ semester is examination fees. Else no charges are there. Various cemtral funded and University funded scholarships are there to support students.
Campus Life
You wil geat a good vibe instantly after entering the campus. The university is between trees covered mountains and the view is just heart melting. Campus is very good. Jst transport problem is here beacuse it is located in a little remote area. We have a central library full with good books and journals. All classes are Smart classes in my department. We have a hige sports complex and a playground.
Hostel Facilities
We have two hostels for boys I.e. Guru govind Boys Hostel and New Boys Hostel for boys Sone hostel for Phd. Scholars (Boys) and Rani Durgawati Girls hostel and New Girls Hostel for girls. Hostel room has cupboards Beds and table chairs each alloted one to one student and 3 students in a room. First year fees for hostel is 3250/ yr including caution money of Rs. 500 subsequent fees is rs. 2750/yr. Mess meal quality is so so and depends on personal choice. I personally don't think the quality is upto the mark . Canteen is available as well as Sone hostel mess and Guest house mess is also there.
Admission
I am a student of Bsc. Biotechnology (Hons.) was selected on the basis of merit list because at that time covid 19 was prevailing. I have 80.2 % in my +2 class on basis of that in that time i was selected.I got admission through OBC quota. We can find the application form in the university website easily. Application fees was 300 rs. And afterwards peryear semester fees is Rs. 1340/yr.
