INDIRA gandhi national tribal university review

Likes

natural environment and fresh air there.
engagement with other student from different states .
fees structure is very affordable even hostel fees is too cheap

Dislikes

not placement cell active for our deparment
no proper food and water facilities in hostel.
shops are not more than two there , also no market outside university , also no proper sport kit given to play there

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum activites are there but cultural division at peak , most of student are divided by cultural and course , like our course have no reputation in college . teaching faculties is worst at its peak , not teachers are expert in his field , even teacher teaching coding without knowing concept of coding or programming .

quality of education and all faculty is vary coprative
university campus is vary beautifull and positive environment of all campus
university library is very big and all books and 5g internet are avialable

Dislikes

the palcement service and career support provide by the insttitude effected
university is located are vary remote and silant area
the course curriculum for ba geography is highly relevant and create a strong founadation

the BA geography curriculum focus on GIS, fieldwork and environment studies influenced my choice . it prepares students well for real word application and further studies . improvement coud advanced GIS , my exam are well timed with z moderate level of difficulty.

Likes

The environment of the campus is very eco friendly and the atmosphere is too good
The facilities are also good the hods are well educated and very humble
The cultural programs are held irrespective of the background

Dislikes

For girls there is no outing we cannot go outside of the campus
The hostel timing for girls is less and they don't allow us to stay late outside the hostel
Mess food is also not that much good and

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams are held in every 6 months and very have don't have practicals in ug periods either we have to submit assignments and have viva . The faculty is very good and helpful Lecturers provide us knowledge for further studies and for better development of our future

IGNTU , POLLUTED FREE ENVIRONMENT

The University is located in a hill station far from the town so we get a pollution free environment in the campus
Campus infrastructure is a good and very big campus ,surrounded by greenery, forest etc. It has is allmost all the department of under the faculty Social science, Science, Commerce and Management, Computer science, Education,Pharmacy, Nursing.
It has all amenities that are necessary to have in a university,There is Guest House, Sports Complex and seperate Hostel for girls and boys, Mega mess , canteen, Health centre for all the students and staffs,

Dislikes

Lake of transportation, since it is located in a hill station, university lacks behind a good transportation communication, though is a University bus which runs from the town to the University campus.
Food Options, here you will not get that much of food Options as compare to a university which is located in a metropolitan city or in a big city. It is located in a hills which put restrictions to the different options of food.
Lack of PG ,or Hostel outside the campus, if any students don't want to stay in a university campus then there is no other option to stay outside as there is no hostel or pg outside the university campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant to the real world experience because in our each semester we use to do field work and to understand the things by the visiting the field is very much effective. what we learn in our classroom,we get. Real experience by doing field work in each semester. I am currently persuing B. A HONS IN POLITICAL SCIENCE AND HUMAN RIGHTS,I CHOOSE THIS course because I want to become a civil servants in future, the curriculum of my course prepared me with the concept of Indian government, constitution, legal provisions , Human Rights, international relations which will helped me with the syllabus of civil services examinations.

Campus Area Vast area of 400sq feet so you can explore and take good pictures and knowledge.
Placement Section for Management department.
Affordability: Everyone can afford the amount of study materials and services.

Dislikes

Only several vehicles can go to the university.
Jungle area is there so wild animals can come in the campus.
Sometimes water and electricity problems may occur.

Placement is there for Management students BBA MBA Tourism and Travel Management students 100% placements is there and package is quite good for the students. After degree Im planning to go for NET exam and PHD

Accommodation facilities need to improve for other state students, they need to improve their hostels, mess, canteen, and transport system
Yes it's good , there's many other states students which helps to interact with new culture and peoples,
Infrastructure is good but not maintained, campus amenities are need to improve,shops, ATM, medical etc

Dislikes

Canteen food obviously no one can liked , they are so unhygienic
University don't have their own transport and logistics system, they need to improve their logistics
Grocery shops are so expensive they sell doubled price for goods

Course Curriculum Overview:

No the curriculum is not sufficient for my future aspect, it's just for basic EVs study they need to improve workshops, internship plans etc. No the curriculum is not prepares for real-world applications at all . Workshops, handling of equipments , intership plans need to be improve. Every 2 month exams are held, exam are not so difficult, we can score good marks after studying 1-2 hr daily.
