IIT Indore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I think that students become eligible for campus placement in 6,7 semesters. There are many companies that come to our campus. As I know the highest package last year was around 45 lakh per annum in hand in a campus job. And as I know the average package is around 20 lakh.

After the 2nd year, the students get internship opportunities and mostly end with pre-placement offers. In the 8th semester, the companies come with job opportunities in the college for on-campus placements. The leading companies are Amazon, Flipkart, TVS, Microsoft, Jio and Deloitte. This year(2023), the highest CTC offered was 68 LPA, and the average was 25.45 LPA. Specifically for CSE, the average was 32.6 LPA. The percentage of students getting placements was 89.76. My plan after getting the degree is to work for a private company with a good package.

In my college 7th semester is the semester in which we have to do our b.tech project alone with the project we can sit in placement interviews. The highest package was 1.7cr at that time and the average package was 25LPA.

Students can sit on campus after completing the 6th semester. IIT Indore has a dedicated placement cell with chosen students as placement coordinators and managers. Also, students can sit for internship drives from their 5th semester.

Companies are called for internships in the third year and placements too are provided for fourth-year, master's and PhD students. In Semester 7 BTech companies are called for placements in the college. Companies like Google, DeShaw, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Flipkart, Arcesium, etc. come to the college. The placement ratio is almost 100%. Different companies make different offers ranging from 10 to 20 each. The highest package is 1.5 crore while the average package is over 18 lakhs. Various positions are offered from Civial engineer, software engineer, etc Almost 98% of students get placed each year. I plan to take a job

After completing the 6 semester students became eligible for campus placement A lot of companies came with so many offers like Google, Tata, Mahindra, and also from other countries. Tata gives the highest package nearly about to the 1 crore Google gives the highest package nearly the 1.9 crore But depends upon per year. 85% of students get a job

Placements in the branches like CSE and EE are very nice almost 90% of the students of these branches get placed with good annual packages and other branches also have a very nice placement scenario the average package of the CSE is around 25 lakhs per annum.

Around 200 students got placed this year with the highest package of Rs. 60 LPA. We started preparing for the tests and interviews from October end. More than 50 companies participated in the week and some of them are Oracle, Mahindra, DE Shaw & Co, SAMSUNG, MAQ Software, Altair, Strand, Hindustan Petroleum, HONDA, Capgemini, SECURE, FICO, AXTRIA, IBM, Ca Technologies, Practo, ORACLE, EPIC, AVTEC.

The college properly justifies its reputation in terms of placements and the college is able to maintain a record of 100% placement. The highest salary package was around 35 LPA and the average salary package was 16 LPA. The college has a very good placement committee and the members of the placement committee also have very good industrial experience so they are properly aware and they prepare us for every round of placement properly.

The college provides good placement. The college placement committee plays an important role in the placement process. We all have to register our name for placement with the placement committee and with the help and guidance of the placement committee we are able to crack the placement rounds with good offers. The highest package for our batch was around 35 LPA and the average package was around 18.50 LPA.
