IIT Indore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

IIT Indore saw a colossal placement rate of 95% in the year of my study. Companies like Amazon, Samsung, DE Shaw and Co., Code Nation, Gojek, Texas Instruments, Cisco, ISRO, Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, Gail India, etc. These companies recruited candidates for positions like Applications analyst, applications developer, cyber security analyst, data analyst, database administrator, Forensic, computer analyst, games designer, games developer, IT consultant, UX designer, Web designer, web developer, systems analyst, etc. The highest package offered was 29 LPA, while the average package stood at 16 LPA. The questions asked during the interview were about the topics I majored in, my soft skills, and the live projects I participated in, during my year of study.

The college is way too far from the main city that acts as a disadvantage for students who want to attend other classes for preparation of CAT or GATE considering the commute time. Also there are few outlets near the campus. It is still under construction.

I chose IIT Indore because IIT Bombay was mentoring IIT Indore in its initial stages and hence I knew that the foundations of the college must be solid in terms of quality of education.
