IIT Indore Review

After I cleared my 10 I was aiming to be part of IIT as my interest was in computer coding and among my other siblings I was the only girl who has an interest in coding do I really wanted to opt for good education standards to complete my passion for coding. My hard work paid me off and I cleared the cutoff list of the IIT Indore and at JOSAA counselling I was able to secure my seat in the college. The college has a very good infrastructure and IIT Indore is ranked among the best 30 engineering colleges in India.

The curriculum includes a case study, simulative exercise, programming language, computer algorithms, artificial intelligence, machine learning and many more. Every week class quizzes were also held to test our capabilities to check our coding skills and knowledge. The facility of the college was wonderful. The faculty of the college were properly aware of our mindsets and they use to teach us in a very simple and easy way so that the very concept of engineering is properly clear to us.

We have to take part in the college internship program after completing the three years of our program and we have to finish at least 9-weeks of the internship program. The internship program is a very good option for us to add professional experience to our resumes. The average stipend for an internship was around 65k.

The college properly justifies its reputation in terms of placements and the college is able to maintain a record of 100% placement. The highest salary package was around 35 LPA and the average salary package was 16 LPA. The college has a very good placement committee and the members of the placement committee also have very good industrial experience so they are properly aware and they prepare us for every round of placement properly.

The college provides very good opportunities for research activities. As being part of the B.Tech program most of the time was involved in many assignments and project work activities so our maximum time we used to be in the library and computer labs after the class. The computer labs of the college were very modern and with the latest hardware equipment. The college has a very good library the library is the source of very knowledgeable books from around the world.

The hostel of the college is good and the hostel is properly cleaned and the bathrooms are also always kept clean. Veg and the non-veg menu is available and the food is tasty and the wardens of the hostels are quite professional. The staff of the hostel properly maintain the hostel discipline. 24 hours of power and water supply facility is also available. The hostel does not compromise with the quality. The security of the hostel is also very good.
