- Placement and alumini: the institute has an immense alumini network along with the placement cell which attracts the top high paying companies ensuring good job opportunities for the students.it also enables research and further studies.
- I appreciate nitc's commitment to academic excellence, with a strong faculty and diverse range of courses that provide a well-rounded education.
- I like the cultural fests like festivals being celebrated here which is very nice .
Dislikes
- In nit calicut gym was not free we want pay for it this thing i really hatred
- Fees are very high when we compared to other nits nit calicut collecting more fees which becoming heavy burden to poor students like me they don't even giving concession most of the people are not getting scholarships
- Our hostels are too old and actually it is alloted for 3 people but they are keeping 4 people in a room wash rooms are also not so good.

- College campus is nice,clean and big.it also has gym and swimming pool.
- College is great at education and it is tier 1 college.there is no ragging
- For sports it has badminton court, table tennis, basketball, volleyball. Every hostel has indoor sports

- There is reservation for Kerala students,so Kerala has more students than every other state students
- Here girl to boy ratio is 3:1 , not Many girl are here
- It has activate point system which is very bad

Highest package is 50 lpa and average package is 18 lpa

- A beautiful campus which is situated away from the city .
- Hostels are very good as compared to other other NITs.
- Faculty are highly qualified and they are very kind.
Dislikes
- The campus divided into three to four parts .
- Classes are too far from hostels we have to walk about 700m.
- Buildings are too old , some faculty are rude
Placement Experience:
I think from 5 th semester students are eligible to apply for placements for placements CGPA will play a crucial role . Total 200+ companies are visited to NITC in last year some of them are Honeywell , intel, HPCL ,FIITJEE ,Mahindra . 80% students are placed in last year.

- Best facilities and opportunities for students.
- Best environment and good places nearby.
- Good student community and Secured for students.
Dislikes
- Sports facilities can be improved for students.
- Library facilities are not so good for students.
- Working hours and pressure on students must be reduced.
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements.208 companies visited last year and 1080 placement offers were made .Highest package is about 50LpA and average package is about 20LpA.My plans are getting a job placement after degree

Placement Experience:
Placements are pretty good and students from 6th semester get eligible for placements There are many large scale companies which visited our college in past few years like Qualcomm,Oracle etc.Average package is about 1600000.percentage of students getting placements is above 80percent.

- The college is fully with trees which makes it lush green.
- The infrastructure is also quite nice which balances the environment.
- Sports facilities is nice with well trained coach in every sport
Dislikes
- The food is neither spicy nor delicious in the messes alloted to 1st year students
- Lab equipments are very old in some branches
- Language barrier is observed in students
Placement Experience:
The placements are quite decent in chemical engineering. Both core and non core companies are hiring Chemical engineering students, which is quite a good point. The highest package was 64LPA from CSE. Average package is 11 to 14LPA.

- One of the biggest South Indian cultural fest ragam and techno fest tathva are my favorite. my fa
- Games & Sports they gave equal importance as studies and best thing is for every sports there is a individual coach.
- A lush greenery campus with so many places to chill.
Dislikes
- I didn't like infrastructure buildings are too old.
- For 1st year students classes are good but from 2nd yera onwards classes are ok ok.
- Mess food is bad for other state people .
Placement Experience:
In Tier one Engineering Colleges list NIT Calicut is one of them .We know there are good placement for tier one engineering colleges.
Students can sit for placements from 3rd year i.e from 6 th semester. Top Recruiters are companies visited in last four years
TATA,HP, ORACLE, DELOITTE, RELIENCE, ADITHYA BIRLA GROUP and etc.. in evey year about 75% to 85% Students are get placed .
Highest package in 2024:47LPA
Average:13LPA
Median:9.5LPA

My sister completed her B.Tech from NIT Calicut a few years back. As a female student, she had a bitter experience at this college. Here are some of the things that she noticed during her stay at NIT Calicut-
- The girls hostel is very strict regarding outings. There is a fixed curfew from 7 pm to 6 am. Even for staying on campus after 7 pm, special permission is required.
- There are instances where you might encounter racism in the most casual manner, this is especially true for North Indian students.
- The hostel and college staff are blatantly partial towards female students and those who complain are told to leave the college.
- There is a system of daily roll call for female hostellers, which is again a gender-biased rule. The Resident Tutors are not supportive or helpful and may scold you for not attending the roll call even if you are new and not well aware of the hostel procedures.
- During LAN work or other repairs, no female attendee is present with the male workers within the girls hostel premises. The girls are expected to follow all the precautionary measures and no strict rules are laid for the male workers.
NIT Calicut is an institute of national importance with an excellent reputation and great placement records. However, as a female hosteller, my sister faced these obstacles which caused unnecessary frustration for her.
