- Placement and alumini: the institute has an immense alumini network along with the placement cell which attracts the top high paying companies ensuring good job opportunities for the students.it also enables research and further studies.
- I appreciate nitc's commitment to academic excellence, with a strong faculty and diverse range of courses that provide a well-rounded education.
- I like the cultural fests like festivals being celebrated here which is very nice .
Dislikes
- In nit calicut gym was not free we want pay for it this thing i really hatred
- Fees are very high when we compared to other nits nit calicut collecting more fees which becoming heavy burden to poor students like me they don't even giving concession most of the people are not getting scholarships
- Our hostels are too old and actually it is alloted for 3 people but they are keeping 4 people in a room wash rooms are also not so good.

- Campus, Sports, the whole vibe of the campus is amazing.
- All staffs including faculties and non teaching staffs are well mannered.
- Strict anti ragging policy which makes the campus a safe environment for the freshers.
Dislikes
- Lectures are somewhat hard to digest even though the professors are ok.
Placement Experience:
Our college offers a bunch of varieties of companies to choose from to attend for placement interviews. Companies from many sectors like tech, construction, architecture and more visit our college to give placement interviews to the students.

- Some People Who smoke near the premises of college who belong to outside
- Distance from hostel to college and class rooms
Course Curriculum Overview:
I rate 4/5 because I was not totally into the core of Mechanical engineering
I strive hard to get the mechanics part but lose it
The subjects offered by college are pretty good
But balancing your Co cultural and academics is a bit hard

Placement Experience:
The campus placements are for the students of sem 6-8 which they can get placed to high money offering companies based on the students skills.
The placements are pretty good in the college and i'm planning to get into IT sector.

What is your review of the National Institute of Technology Calicut?

My sister completed her B.Tech from NIT Calicut a few years back. As a female student, she had a bitter experience at this college. Here are some of the things that she noticed during her stay at NIT Calicut-
- The girls hostel is very strict regarding outings. There is a fixed curfew from 7 pm to 6 am. Even for staying on campus after 7 pm, special permission is required.
- There are instances where you might encounter racism in the most casual manner, this is especially true for North Indian students.
- The hostel and college staff are blatantly partial towards female students and those who complain are told to leave the college.
- There is a system of daily roll call for female hostellers, which is again a gender-biased rule. The Resident Tutors are not supportive or helpful and may scold you for not attending the roll call even if you are new and not well aware of the hostel procedures.
- During LAN work or other repairs, no female attendee is present with the male workers within the girls hostel premises. The girls are expected to follow all the precautionary measures and no strict rules are laid for the male workers.
NIT Calicut is an institute of national importance with an excellent reputation and great placement records. However, as a female hosteller, my sister faced these obstacles which caused unnecessary frustration for her.
