Eligibility Criteria

A pass in the Diploma Examination in Engineering/Technology conducted by the State Board of Technical Education, Kerala or other states or any other equivalent examination after undergoing an institutional course of minimum 3 years duration with a minimum of 50 percent marks or equivalent. In the case of candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST/OEC categories, the relaxation in minimum marks required shall be as per the norms followed by the University for other B Tech programmes. Candidates can seek admission only to the branch of Engineering/Technology in which they possess diploma.
Candidates should be on permanent technical / professional employment for at least two years at the time of application after passing the Diploma Examination in any of the following type of establishments:
- Government Organizations.
- Quasi - Government Organizations.
- Industrial firm duly registered under Society’s Act.
- Public or Private limited companies registered under Companies Act.
- Government/ Quasi-Government/Private-aided/Private-unaided Polytechnics and Engineering Colleges in the State.
In the absence of sufficient number of candidates with the minimum required technical / professional experience of two years, candidates with lesser experience will also be considered.
