Dislikes

The college is too strict with attendance,if a student’s attendance is below 85 he has to pay a fine of ?5000,?3000 and ?2000 and if the student has a less than 75% attendance then he/she is detained which is very wrong ~ Abhinaba Bhuyan, BA

Christ University MCA admission process

Likes

Faculty is very good and supportive , they will guide u very well.
Campus is too good and there are 23 total canteens in central campus.
Infrastructure is very good and placements is good.

Dislikes

Teaching method is not good from few teachers
Over crowded,u have to wait for lift, if u want to go on 9- 10 floor.
They will put so much pressure and restrictions on your mind in first year.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 students become eligible for campus placement, there will be many companies will apply for the placements in the college there will be 700 + companies who visits the college every year for placements. The highest package was 33 lakhs for last year and average package was 6 lakh

BSC Mathematics at Christ University- A Comprehensive Review

Likes

The library timings is awesome and a student can borrow 2 books at a time for 21 days .
Fest and events hosted by various committees within the university. Placements and career scope is really good .
Discipline and well mannered as well as cooperative faculty members to guide students .

Dislikes

The attendance rate is 85% which is a bit high i feel .
Strict dress code including wearing tie, perfect formal shoes, rolled up sleeves .
Most colleges follow 4 continuous hours of college, Christ follows 4 hours then a break and then 2 hours .

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course which is BSC in Mathematics teaches the students about the concepts of real analysis and mathematical modeling which made me decide to choose this course the curriculum prepares us for real-time application by giving internships in companies and further academic pursuits by providing the students with research in a specific field. The teaching methods and curriculum in the course is fine but need improvement like a better faculty-to-student ratio, etc. The frequency of exams in each semester is generally 3 months with medium level of difficulty.

Chiest University College Review

Likes

The college focuses more on overall development rather than just marks which is a big advantage because of you are from Christ even companies prioritise because of that very reason.
The campus life is pretty good, classes will be early morning. B com and CA classes combined will get very hectic.
The faculties are mostly qualified Chartered Accountants with the rest being full time teachers.

Dislikes

Administration is very bureaucratic and it's not a good thing.

Placement Experience:

Placement are good since there a number of companies that come for placements. I think there were around 60 companies that came in my final year. The average package would be somewhere around 3,50,000.

The day in Christ university

Likes

The college supports very good cultural activities and also has numerous clubs where students can be part of exciting adventures and knowledge learning
The faculty is experienced in their respective fields and the teaching quality is good thing about christ university. The infrastructure is also amazing with 4 blocks and a separate block for research and development along with canteen under each bl
Each course is well designed keeping in mind of the advances in the respective fields and the placements having a average package of 7lakhs.

Dislikes

The university is very strict with uniforms and rules
Attendance is followed very strictly and any shortage of attendance means u won't be allowed to write the test.
You find people with different ethnicities making it sifficult for you to interact with people.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year although internships starts from 2nd year. Few companies that come for placements include Deloitte, amazon, goldman sachs, Infosys etc. The highest package is 22 lakhs and the avergage package is 7 lakhs. The percentage of students being placed is around 80 percent (approx)

My Review of Christ (Deemed to be University) as a student

Likes

The teachers were good, chill and friendly, you did have some black sheep but overall they were really good
The college is always involved in some or the other fest and for every fest the college is decorated and stall are put up which is really beautiful to watch
The courses and the syllabus are upto the industry standards and that really helps during placements and jobs

Dislikes

The college is really strict with regard to attendance irrespective of medical certificate
Some rules where there are options to be linient aren't that's way, they follow the rules to the extreme
Incase of some trouble like losing your id card or claiming attendance and stuff, the process is very hectic and long and they make you run from pillar to post to get it approved

Placement Experience:

Students of third year get to sit for placements, average package can be 350000 pa and the highest was 600000 pa, almost everyone who sat for placements got placed as the course chosen was such that the preparation was at ultimate level. We had many companies like Capgemini, EY, Accenture, the big 4s etc. I am right now pursuing Chartered Accountancy and planning to continue with that

Likes

The extra curricular activities in christ are the plus point of this university. Various fests and events make sure that the campus is always lively and helps students in growth and development.
Christ is also knows for its discipline. Christ makes sure that students while enjoying their college life are disciplined as well and always maintain professionalism.
The faculty art christ university are all well versed with immense knowledge and have years of experience. They have the right expertise to handle all students.

Dislikes

The college timings are inconvenient a lot of times
The dress code is very strict especially for sbm students and it can create chaos sometimes. While being in college students do not prefer to be restricted about the uniform.
Maintaining high percentage of attendance is also difficult when we are faced with serious medical issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My reason behind joining christ was that it covers workdwide fundamental of the business administration preparing students for diverse career paths. There are core subjects like financial accounting and management, cost and management accounting, business studies, economics, marketing, Human Resource management, business analytics and much more. Christ provides various specialisation like finance, marketing and Human Resources. There are carious internship and placement opportunities that christ provides to make sure that their students are always ready to step out in the real world.

Christ university a mixed feeling

Likes

I like the campus very much it is a great campus including lakes and extra carricular activities are also great
Different ethenic group of people from all over the world
Faculty members are very helpful and supportive

Dislikes

Dresscode is their you have to wear formals with tie all the time
It is very strict and guards are very rude they are very arrogant
Attendance issue you have to maintain min of 85 percent attendance

The course and the curriculum is very well designed it includes LCA the curriculum is about the present situation of the world and more focused on enhacing skills rather than bookish knowledge the course plan is very good

there are many fest which give practical knowledge
they provide with holistic education .
campus is very good along with the faculty

Dislikes

attendence is very strict .they have a lot of fine for short attendence
the food is not so great in the college .
uniform system is very harsh on even if we get very hot we have to wear formals

Placement Experience:

the placement is average like 6 lpa but fir bba it's pretty nice as an entry level job so I think one couldd sit for placements if they are not going forn an mba they should sit in the placement hmmmm

Everything about christ university

Likes

Campus is very big and beautiful also almost everything is provided
Faculty are experienced and great in teaching or clearing toppics
So many opportunities for internships pr placements and also get personality improvements

Dislikes

Time table is not good sometimes we have 4 hr breaks between classes
Dont get holidays on most of the north Indian festivals
All fest are serious fest not much of fun festing

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college is good the avg placement of finance background will be somewhere around 8lpa for marketing it will around 6-7 lpa and for Human Resource Management it is around 6lpa 100 percent pf students fet placement who applied for it they might not take it but they get placement offers

Christ University is one of the best private universities where you can pursue an M.Sc Data Science program. You can apply for admission in this program if you have completed a BCA degree or a B.Sc degree in Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
