KJC not a hell, not a heaven

Likes

The college is very green and neat as it is well maintained
The college has enough space to hang around
The college is very diverse from people all over the country and world

Dislikes

Some of the faculty is too strict and not freindlyy

Placement Experience:

The placements in Kristu Jayanti college is pretty good. For my course the students are eligible for placement from 2nd year. The package last year was 7.50 LPA. A lot of big companies come here for placements. And it really differs according to courses..

My good days

Likes

The campus environment was very good to my Point of view.
The Lecturing style was very good and interesting.
The course Helped me know o develope my communication.

Dislikes

The infrastructure was a big problem in our campus.
The Syllabus was very old and was not upto date to reap world.
Some lectures were very rude during my tenure of study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course curriculum was very helpful and was related to real world applications. But the drawback was the syllabus was not upto date and our syllabus carried was not suitable and modern. The exam was very easy to take.

very beautiful environment, calming and soothing place to study.
Good space for studies, Good place to learn new things as a student.
The faculties were much intelligent and as a student learnt many new things related to subject and life too.

Dislikes

As a student. I have experienced politics during my college time in class as well as in campus.
Poor infrastructure to stay and fear of falling of building during class time.
very strict environment and their was no placement opportunity during my tenure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Way the faculties teaches the subject was very good. but one problem was that, The subject was updated as it was very old syllabus our college followed till my tenure, due to which it didn't help us very much in the real world application outside the college. The areas of improvement i would suggest is to update the syllabus and give placement opportunities for students to grow in life. The exams were very much easy to crack.

The faculties were excellent and their teaching method was different. They were very supportive and helpful in all aspects
College does provided different activities and it was fun
College infrastructure was good, where we could gather together with friends. Have a nice cafeteria inside the campus with an excellent ambience of Quadra place

Dislikes

There were lot of gangs based on regions
Felt overpriced for the given fee and the service provided
There was no proper lab setup provided for us at the time

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was aligning properly in terms of research which would be helpful for an aspirant looking for phD option after Masters. I felt the college could have explored us more industrial experience as well as few certification courses. Frequency of exams were good as it will be make us prepared for the final exams

I like the sere environment and clean campus area that is just plainly beautiful at times. Also the college is well supportive about nurturing and growing students extracurricular activities and skills ensuring students not only excel academically.

Dislikes

The outside campus area is pretty much in bad condition with a constant road block and poor road conditions causing large amounts of dust and smoke to arise in that area along with noise and some areas of foul smell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course syllabus for our batch is the latest updated syllabus that ensures that the students get the top level of education that is being provided to us at the moment at our level comparable to that of many international level colleges and universities.

They give new opportunity for every student
They make every student to involve in any project or some science based program
The teaching technique is good i liked it

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements the highest and average paclage will be frpm 90000 to 2.5 lakhs percentage of students getting placements it depends on the students interview if they attend the interview in a good way then they will get 100% placement my plans after getting degree job or i am also planing for start up

My life at KJC

College's campus is actually good, refreshing and green. It includes all the good vibes with good labs for psychology students, good washrooms and good canteens. There are 4-5 canteens in campus including various outlets.
Teachers of psychology department are very friendly. The college holds a system of regular and disciplined teaching. Course might seem hectic in start but it's all worth it.
Course curriculum has helped me a lot. It is very practical and helpful to us in our personal and professional growth. We get used to work more and handle stressful situations. Teachers are very collaborative and understanding.

Dislikes

Fixed dress code. It was very strict for dress code like boys wear formals everyday and girls wear suit, kurti with dupatta everyday
Canteens are nice but for North Indian people there should be more outlets providing north indian cuisine
Teachers needs to be bit lenient in classrooms

Placement Experience:

There is a separate placement cell handled by a very well known and experienced faculty.Big four companies to various organisations are being invited for placement. For msc clinical psychology, placement rate is good. From various organisations be it corporate or ngo that offers a package of maximum 4 lacs.

Faculty for msc psychology is very good in here

Some times it might be hectic with workload but still when you think its for our good you will go with the flow

Course Curriculum Overview:

Main highlight is that they provide campus placement. Which is very usefull for all the students. That made me more attracted to the college. This college curriculum actually help us in many real life aspects were we make our own decision accordingly. Timing of the college for different course is different like for masters students it's from 9 to 4:30 which they made the schedule as we will be working after masters so they are making us to work like office schedule time which is really helpfull.

It is good because it is having extremely good campus,with environment for studies also the teachers, faculty, staff is helpful and coperative in ecery aspects
It is also good as it has green and clean campus and hygine is good
Education here is very nice and it is good in disciplane also

Placement Experience:

Students of last year are elegeable for sitting in placements Many complanies as numen health and other 20 companies came for placement The highest package offers Is 3.5 lakh and average 2.5 lakh per annum 80per students get placed After this degree i will opt for my phd so to get a doctorate before my name and to explore more about this specific coure

According to the reviews online, Bangalore University (BU) is an average university and is known to be deteriorating day by day.

Students are irritated by their evaluation system.
They tend to check the answer sheets carelessly.
The faculty never completes the syllabus.
The announcement of results is delayed quite often.
The condition of the campus is deteriorating and no action is taken to solve it.
There is a lack of core technical subjects in B.Com.

It is suggested that you do not go for BU, as it won't provide learning and understanding courses, topics and the concepts. It will be better if you opt for VTU instead.
