A nice place with plenty of exposures

Likes

Lot's of exposure to students for personality development
Better Sports exposure and facilities with scholarship
Teachers coordination with counciling support

Dislikes

More companies should visit for campus placement
Should provide hands on experience for tech students
The duration of semesters should improve

Admission:

I applied in very few college I also applied in Kristu Jayanti college and DU colleges for Same course and got selected in Kristu Jayanti but DU admission was not yet started so I got admission in St Joseph's University The process is very simple there is an entrance test and a personal interview to get admission in St Joseph's University cutoffs are 70 to 75 percent

Inside Kristu Jayanti : A student experience

The First Thing I liked the View and enviornment of college the college is so clean so much and the washroom and other things are always clean regardless of 15,000 students
The faculty are friendly they help if u have any doubt
support from college like any help everything is there is u get any problem just go and tell the problem they will guide u and help u

Dislikes

the attendance of 75% ik its mandtory but even if u have 74% u cant give exam
grooming even if small hair grown beard they ask u to trim right now in college

Admission:

i get accepted in most college like RIT RORKEE, LPU University no i didnt get any rejection from other colleges , the admission process of my college is intervieew online where teacher ask u few questions related to ur course to see if u know or not

Unveiling UVCE

Likes

The approachable faculty, friendly peers and the freedom to explore were one of the few things I really appreciated about our college
Our campus life is all about us, how much we decide to explore and how much we decide to keep things to ourself
The placement services and the support provided are really useful because I belong to mechanical branch and the placement rate of mechanical branch is quite high, so Obv I really appreciate the effort from the placement office.

Dislikes

The building is dusty sometimes, and also the building doesn't have a lift.
Coming to the campus amenities, drinking water is not available.
Because I belong to 29th batch, our batch are the batch to face the new syllabus, so we don't have any previous year question paper, model question paper, so accademic pressure is high.

Admission:

I chose this college because of the great reputation, rich legacy and huge alumni network. On top of that this is a government institution so obviously this was cost-effective choice for me. I never applied for any other colleges than this because this college was always my one and only choice.

Dislikes

They have. Old labs and it is difficult to predict the readings
They did'nt have good maintaince incharge
They did'nt have play ground and it didn't have responsibility

I choose this college because which is 1st engineering college in karnataka and it has 100 year legency .all lecture are good experienced peoples and placement rate also good it has less fee structure

Bold, Beautiful and Brutal shades of UVCE

Friendly environment, no raging. Approachable seniors and faculty. We have faculty who actually listen and improve from our inputs, so that's one thing I really appreciate about UVCE
Our college has a hell lot of clubs, personally I successfully got into one as well, the clubs, heads of the clubs are all quite generous and kind towards us.
Our college specifically has a whole department that deals with placements, and the placements start in the 2nd year itself so that's some impressive stuff about UVCE

Dislikes

Labs sometimes have error-ed instruments, dusty classrooms, no regular cleaning. Some really smelly washrooms and NO drinking water facility is the most torturous thing about UVCE.
Delays and delays in almost everything, you have to keep asking things if not surprise surprise, you'll be given no info and suddenly one day they'll say exams are coming, till done you have no choice but to tolerate the wait.
Each and every signature, procedure happens late, deadlines keep on getting extended, no prior info, no accountability nothing, just and absolutely adequate amount of silence to drive you absolutely insane.

Admission:

• I got my seat through KCET exam, so basically in my order priority UVCE was the 5th college and I knew that I'll not get the other 4 colleges because I knew my score, cutoffs of those colleges and my category reservations too well. Why I chose this college was simple, I knew for a fact that it was affordable. • Coming to the rejection part it was never like doorstep rejection it was just the feeling of shit-I-wanted-it. As they say, whatever happens it happens for something good, and now that I see how the colleges I happened to get are charging, I feel good for not getting in. • The admission process began when KEA website announced the 2nd rounds results of KCET and opened the admission portal. We had to pay fees to the KEA portal and generate a payment receipt/challan after that we'd recieve a admission order, then we had to go to the allotted college and show the admission order and go with our attested documents signed sealed and present it and tada admission done.

Knowing about our college

Likes

Our college provide good experienced stuffs
In our college so many clubs are there it gives the more knowledge
It provides curriculum activities like sports, cultural events etc...nts

Dislikes

It does not have a good management system
It has outdated labs it doesn't work properly
It has inconsistent placement and we need to significant self study

Admission:

I got admission in university of visvesvaraya college of engineering bangalore through K-CET in 1st round. I gave 1st Preparence to this college because it is one of the oldest engineering college in karnataka . It has 100 years legency.it has maintain good experienced stuffs and it also has good placement rate. When I got uvce in 1st round I paid 49600 fees then I confirm my seat in this college. It is one of best college I have seened.

As our institute is government with IIT model syllabus I am much great full to my university.
About placement it is one of the best University among other.

Dislikes

Not much dislike things because it is the best
One dislike thing is our hostel is far away from campus.
And there is no transportation facilities

I applied for top colleges only because my ranking is 8166 which is below 10k. According to the resources i know that I will get UVCE but my interest on BMSCE because I not waited for 3rd round I lost it. Although I am lucky to be a student of UVCE.

Good learning Place

Likes

I liked the strong academic curriculum at UVCE, experienced faculty members, and the good learning environment that encourages technical knowledge and research skills
Since college changed the syllabus for all the branches, which is industry oriented and updated technologies and the colleges was recently converted into completely autonomous.
Majority of the teachers are friendly and they dont hesitate to clear the doubts of the students during class.

Dislikes

I heard from my friends that they said girls hostels are having old building and not have proper facilities and girls hostel is little far away from college.
While considering the Boys hostel it was good and well furnitured new building is there but the seats are too less and majority of students are coming from far away because of less number of seats
Only for few subjects they start the syllabus little late and do it quickly when exams came but dont mind these subjects are not reuired for placements

Admission:

I applied for many private engineering colleges, as i came from middle class family the fee in these colleges was higher but as UVCE is a government college it has less fee compared to other colleges. and i am NEET student and i got government BAMS college,Bangalore but as i am not intrested in that field i took admission in this college through KCET and as i came from Biology background i didnot really faced too much difficulty for programming langauage subject.

Students are too friendly and staffs . Teachers and very good and helps us in exams for important questions
College library is very good, we have 2 floors of library in our college, and very polite and we can take books to home and study and give off to the college
College bathroom is like showroom big bhg mirrors and people will poop politely and pee politely

Dislikes

Once I got cought in exam hall and they torchered me and took my patience very badly
Some teachers and soo strict and very angry

Admission:

One of my relatives wear studying in this college and she got placed in some companies and i thought I'll go study in the same college. I was going to apply in cmr college near Kalyan nagar. Soo many frnds of mines are going there but i didn't get the sets over there , soo my last option was to go of Indian academy degree college hennur . I got rejected from cmr due to late arrived for admission There is no eligibility in over clg
