Bangalore University Scholarship 2026: Amount, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

Scholarship name	Eligibility
Government of India Post-Metric Scholarships	Karnataka students belonging to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes whose parent’s annual income is less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lacs.
Minorities Scholarship	The candidates belonging to minorities (i.e., Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Anglo-Indians, Jains, etc.,) whose Parents’ Annual Income is less than INR 44,500 are eligible to apply for Encouragement Fund/ Fees reimbursement from Minorities Welfare Department (MWD) as per the norms of MWD.
Special Scholarships	Special Scholarships for Children of Government Employees/University Employees who die in harness, administered by the Director of Collegiate Education or the University as the case may be.
Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship	Single Girl Child who happens to be the only child or girl who is a twin daughter in the family is eligible to apply only through online mode.
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship	The scholarship is for meritorious students (1st to 5th Ranks) who come under the Below Poverty Line as defined by the Government of Karnataka. The scholarship amounts to INR 500 each per month for 10 months for each year, to each Department of Bangalore University.

Ok so Im in first year i paid around 1.34 lakhs f=with registration fees and all, the tuition fees is 1,20,000 registration fee is around 5000 and admission fees is 15,000 for other states students , my batchmates fees has same just their admission fees is less 10k

The yearly fee structure for our course is around ?49,600, which includes tuition fees, registration fees, caution deposit, and other compulsory charges. The fee remains almost the same for the complete course and is not increasing much. Students admitted under the SNQ quota pay only ?10 as fees. Scholarships like EGA, SSP, and NSP are available for eligible students from SC, ST, and other reserved categories. Overall, the fee structure is affordable compared to other colleges. My category is SC, and my fees is 49600, it is as same as of students of other category. Compared to other colleges, the fee of our college is less and it makes it affordable to everyone and our college has a good reputation so the placement record is also quite good. There's no extra/hidden fees taken by the management in the name of caution fees, tution fees, lab fees etc etc. The only fees they make you pay other than the 49600 is the exam fee which is off 2305 rs, which has to be paid every sem for you to write the sem exam. Coming to the scholarships, UVCEGA provides students with high cgpa/under 10k rank in KCET, with a scholarship of upto 50000. Also our college approves both NSP and SSP scholarships.

*Following are the annual fee structure for completing the 4 years of B.Tech/B.Arch degree course in UVCE: Tuition fee=32,000 Other fee=17,600 Examination fee=4,610 Hostel charges if you want to live in college hostel=43000(For food only) And accomodation in Hostel is completely free Total fee=97,210(Including Hostel) This is for 1st year and from next year onwards other fee reduses from 17600 to 16250 which makes total fee as 95,860. For SC and ST students they did not need to pay the college fee during the admission of college and they can pay the fee after receiving state government scholorship. And there is no Entry extra fee in this college.

Great college and I have completed my BCA in Indian academy degree college, and the fee structure was 75k and I don't know about hostel fee . It's a great college . There will be panalty if you haven't paid the fee on time . Very strict in exams and fee . There should be time time work done ?
