- The teachers are good at teaching and also have a doctorate.
- Class are very near to every boys hostel.
- Seniors guide in each and every steps to students.
Dislikes
- The electricity facility problems are being faced.
- Network issue exists during holidays and Sundays.
- The fruits in fruit shops inside the campus is not good.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I'm very interested in ECE branch. My interest towards the core is from my 10 th when I know about this branch by my seniors, relatives and also from the internet. The time given for examination is 2 hours.

- I like the atmosphere of our college it is very pleasant with trees.
- Students are encouraged to participate in different kind of activities.
- Everything required for a student is available inside the campus.
Dislikes
- The temperature in the college keeps changing.
- The cost of food items in canteen are high.
- The wi-fi is not working properly sometimes.
Course Curriculum Overview:
the professors are qulifed and each having a doctorates. Teaching is done in english as students are from different many do not know hindi as a common language. The teaching faculty encourage students in every step. The seniors guide juniors in every moment.

- The Culture of IIT ISM is very best, which helps us progress
- The Rich club culture of our IIT ISM is one the best and helps us to develop our skills
- The atmosphere of students is so helpfull that it helps many people land internships and many other opportunities..
Dislikes
- The Surroundings outside the campus are not that good, underdeveloped city. No proper waste management by city muncipal council
- Closing time of main gate is 10pm., which I feel is not fair.
- Amber hostel food is not so good, its just EDIBLE thats it!!
Placement Experience:
From 4th semseter students are allowed to sit in Campus placements and From 3rd semseter students are allowed to sit in Intership placemetns. Our Average package is around 21LPA and IIT ISM is a bit unique as here you will find very good packages in Circutal branch( its obvious) + you find very good packages in other branches as well like Minearl and Metallurgical, Petroleum etc.

I am pursuing bachelor of technology in Electronics and communication engineering. the college curriculum is outstanding and help to learn many things. Highly qualified professors with doctorates. Good quality digital system for teaching purpose. Play grounds for playing cricket
and different types of courts for playing tennis, football, hockey, table tennis, etc. Yoga center for calming and relaxing mind. NCC and NSS are also there in our college. The college surrounding is full of plants for providing good atmosphere for students. ALL these help to develop skills and grow in our personal life.

- Cultural Fests and sports fests are conducted in our college.
- Everything is available inside the campus like fruit shop , stationary shop and we don't need to go out of campus for anything.
- All types of clubs are there in our college.
Dislikes
- The canteen will be closed during morning time in every hostel.
- The wi-fi sometimes doesn't work properly.
- The power facility sometimes doesn't provided due to some issues.

- The campus and friendship life. Infra was good.
- Also sports facilities were top notch and best.
- Good fests and events. Flexible schedule.
Dislikes
- Girls had in time of 12 am for hostels. Could be longer.
- In time of campus is 10 pm which could be longer.
- Could have better food courts and city did not have airport.
Placement Experience:
Placements are decent for cse and circuital branches. Also petroleum and mining are best in the country. Decent packages for top branches but others will suffer, if you wanna go to SDE route. So better choose top ones.

- In IIT there is lot of freedom college culture is very different from schools
- The teaching faculty is very good there are many clubs for different divisions
- College placements are very good over the years
Dislikes
- Our college is one the oldest college so need to improve infrastructure
- Boys to girls ratio is less and there is no branch change in our college
- Hostel are very old and small for the first year students
Course Curriculum Overview:
The reason why I took this course is I am interested about electrons and semi conducter industry .there are lab practicals to experience real world applications .need an update to the syllabus this are old topics.exans are moderate to tough .

- The campus area is quite big with all the facilities available.
- There are numerous food stalls in the campus.
- The seniors are very helpful and encouraging.
Dislikes
- Mess food is sometimes not upto the mark.
- Some professors do not teach well and students have to refer other resources.
- Hostel services could have been improved. There are no air conditioners in the classroom.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements starts from the 7th semester. Interships start from the 5th semester. Google , Zepto , Amazon, Flipkart, Texas Instruments, Jaguar, BNY MELON, Goldman Sachs are some companies. Highest package for this season was around 60 lpa .

- Personally i like the campus of mine college. The greenery and the buildings. The infrastructure of pur college. Since IIT ISM DHANBAD has legacy in education and moreover. 100th century of our college will be in 2026. The legacy of 100 years.
- The faculty of our college are highly qualified and they know how to teach complex things in easier way
- So in our college in one semester we have 2 exams mid semester and end semester exams also quizzes and practicals labs
Dislikes
- I personally disliked the attendance policy of our college.(75%)
- Some professors are very strict. We can not come late in their class.
- The exams are relatively tougher. One need to study from the starting of semester.
Placement Experience:
So students after 7th semester becomes eligible for applying for on campus as well as off campus placements in our college. Almost every software as well as core companies come to our college for e.g. google ,amazon, samsung, texas instruments, goldman sachs, axella etc.Almost 80% gets placed on campus. I want to go software side.

Campus placement is very good even companies from foreign and all around the world select our college to provide placement to students having good skills and cgpa along with communication skills. In our department around 85-90% get placed on campus with average package of around 24 lakh per annum. Highest package is around 60 lakh for our department. From 7th semester students are eligible to sit in placements. My plan is to get on campus placement.

IIT Dhanbad ranks 15th among the Engineering category by NIRF 2019. It is a much older establishment than IIT Bhubaneswar. The fee structure for BTech in ECE at IIT Dhanbad is 2,30,120 for one year. It Requires a JEE ranking of 3000-10000 for ECE. The ECE department of IIT Dhanbad has seen 60% placement of students with an average annual salary package of 15 lakhs per annum and highest being 39 lakhs per annum. IIT Dhanbad has a total of 332 faculty members who are highly qualified and experienced members. Out of total, 315 members are Ph.D. holders.
IIT Bhubaneswar ranks 17th in the Engineering category by NIRF 2019. It is one of the newer IITs. The students with JEE ranking between 2000-7000 are eligible for Electrical Engineering in IIT Bhubaneswar. IIT Bhubaneswar in 2019 has seen 89% placement in the Civil Engineering Department with an average annual salary package of 11 lakhs per annum, 39 lakhs per annum being the highest. IIT Bhubaneswar has a total of 145 faculty members who are highly qualified and Ph.D. holders. IIT Bhubaneswar has 2 hostels for boys and girls each. It also has Shopping Complex, Healthcare centers, gym, Sports grounds and courts, Common rooms, Media entertainment rooms, ATMs, etc.
Thus, IIT Dhanbad will be a better option to study ECE than Electrical Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar because, Being one of the oldest established IITs, IIT Dhanbad is known for its quality of education and their campus life. It also has better and more experienced faculty members.
