Likes

Cultural Fests and sports fests are conducted in our college.
Everything is available inside the campus like fruit shop , stationary shop and we don't need to go out of campus for anything.
All types of clubs are there in our college.

Dislikes

The canteen will be closed during morning time in every hostel.
The wi-fi sometimes doesn't work properly.
The power facility sometimes doesn't provided due to some issues.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing bachelor of technology in Electronics and communication engineering. the college curriculum is outstanding and help to learn many things. Highly qualified professors with doctorates. Good quality digital system for teaching purpose. Play grounds for playing cricket and different types of courts for playing tennis, football, hockey, table tennis, etc. Yoga center for calming and relaxing mind. NCC and NSS are also there in our college. The college surrounding is full of plants for providing good atmosphere for students. ALL these help to develop skills and grow in our personal life.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college have fees structure for tuition fee as 1,00,000rupees for general/EWS/OBC and for SC/ST tuition fee is 0rupees.Hostel fee include wi-fi, mess, health insurance, water charges, registration fee, etc. Different types of scholarships are available like NSP for SC/ST and many other scholarships are available for general/EWS/OBC. Merit scholarships are available for all categories.

Campus Life

In our college there are different types of clubs like cyber labs consisting of six division namely web development, app development, UI and UX, Machine learning, block chain, information security. There are also different types of clubs like drama club , singing club, dance clubs, music club, product management club, etc. there is also technical skill developing clubs like Robo-ism, code-ism.

Admission

I choose this college because this college has good NRIF ranking and excellent placements for graduates. Different types of companies like Google, Microsoft, Texas-instruments, Walmart global tech, etc. The placement percentage is good enough to get a job in this college in every branch. Different types of internships are also provided in this college to earn and develop skills.

Faculty

Different types of courses are present in our college like Bachelor of technology, Master of technology, Master of sciences. The exams are for conducted for every two months and semester will be completed in every four months. The marking schemes are 30 marks for mid-exam, 50-marks for end-exam and 20 are provided on quiz exams or assignments and projects.

Night Life

In our college there is gym for body building and also a yoga center to calm and maintain body health. The library in our college is open from 9 am to 12 am. The library consists of six floors. Different types of books are available for studying and also maxims are available to read. The books to learn coding languages are also available.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

Great college if the money is not a problem for you!!

Placement Experience:

Placements are good for core branches here at Bit mesra, as compared to other colleges, about 90% students got placed as per I know from seniors, the highest core package is around 20 LPA, main top recruiting companies for core chemical are reliance, jindal and many more!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I am a diploma holder in civil engineering, I had to choose the same branch in B.Tech also. But actually I chose this college because my diploma friends were taking admission in the same college. The college needs some improvements, but the surrounding areas need more improvement.

NSU Jamshedpur : Average university in low fees, overall flexible and decent placement

Placement Experience:

Placements start 6th semester. Companies TCS, Wipro, Deloitte and local companies. Average package is 4 to 5 LPA. I plan to work as a full stack web developer or i will also apply off campus for better softer roles.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

1.The main thing about our campus, campus placements are so good. Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. And the highest package of our campus is about 60LPA offered by Amazon. 4.I planned to work after completing my B.Tech.

Life in NSU

Placement Experience:

Students can get placement from there 5th semester and if they perform well in the company they get internship they will get placement in there only. Many companies visits but some famous companies are Reliance, Byju's, Ujjivan,Justdial, Tcs and mamy more. Planetspark is the company which gave highest package of 8lac rs to a student. Student without backlog gets placement easily. I am planning to do a job and save some mony and do my pg so that i could get better opportunities in jobs.

All You need to know about IIT(ISM) Dhanbad

As this is an IIT, To get admission here Firstly You have to take the JEE mains exam. At our time there used to be 4 rounds of the JEE Mains exam and Your maximum percentile among all 4 would be considered for a cutoff It was around 90% and to be eligible for give JEE advance Exam. The JEE advance exam happened in July, and its results were also released in August. After Qualifying JEE Advanced exam too you have to go through JOSSA counselling. In JOSSA counselling you have to give your list of colleges priority wise and you will be allotted college based on your AIR. After JOSSA counseling of 6 rounds, you will be allotted a college and then you will receive an offer letter from a college. For me, at IIT Dhanbad after taking admission firstly we were introduced to college through an orientation session with our respected director. After this we were called to campus for pre-registration for our course there we had to submit our documents and verify our identity. That's it !!...Read More
