- The campus area is quite big with all the facilities available.
- There are numerous food stalls in the campus.
- The seniors are very helpful and encouraging.
Dislikes
- Mess food is sometimes not upto the mark.
- Some professors do not teach well and students have to refer other resources.
- Hostel services could have been improved. There are no air conditioners in the classroom.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum seems to be outdated. They have to introduce new subjects and topics . As of now the curriculum does not prepare you completely for the real world application. New courses must be introduced. New ways of teaching must be adopted. Frequency of exams must be reduced.
Internships Opportunities
There are numerous internship opportunities for students. For female candidates, companies come from second year itself . The stipend offered is decent. Google offers a stipend of around 1 lakhs per month.
Placement Experience
Campus placements starts from the 7th semester. Interships start from the 5th semester. Google , Zepto , Amazon, Flipkart, Texas Instruments, Jaguar, BNY MELON, Goldman Sachs are some companies. Highest package for this season was around 60 lpa .
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees per semester is 1Lakhs for General and OBCs . SCs and STs are exempted from this . Then there is hotel fees of 25k per semester. This has to be paid by everyone. The ones who has family income less than 1 lakh per annum are exempted from tution fees . On the other hand the one whose family income lie between 1 and 5 lakhs has to pay 33k for tution fees . Then we have MCM scholarship provided by the college. There is a cgpa criteria for obtaining this and family income has to be less than 6LPA.
Campus Life
There are 3 main festivals . The cultural one is Srijan. The technical one is Concetto . Parakram is the sports fest. The library is humungous with nearly all relevant books available. The classes are equipped with smart board, speaker and projectors. The college has one of the best sports facilities. There are several technical and cultural clubs where students can join .
Hostel Facilities
The room is quite big . It has two persons. There are two beds, cupboards, fans lights , windows and wifi facility. The meal quality is not good . The menu is below average. Sometimes the food is not edible.
Admission
I filled all the IITs in my preference list . I got this according to my JEE rank. I would have easily got a good branch in any NIT or IIIT . I preferred this because of the branch and IIT tag and it's Alumni network. You have to clear JEE Advance to get in this college. If you are general then you must have atleast a rank of 15k to get in here . The admission was smooth .
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is quite good. They are helpful and easily approachable. The students can freely ask their doubts. There is a mentorship program offered by them . Some of them are Abhishek Grover , Mrinal Sen . They teach well and kind. Others are also good. There are two exams in a semester, mid and end sems . The paper is of moderate level . Besides these there are continuous quizzes and assignments.
Night Life
The college has separate Gym for boys and girls. There are several cafeterias and a dominos outlet within campus . There is s student activity centre for recreation. The campus in timing is 10 PM and hostel in timing is 12 AM. The campus is safe to roam around in night. The locality is also good .
