i choosed electrcal engineering becouse i like circuits and there mechenisum . they are teaching us by varius practicals that how this concepts work in real world . there is also awork shope where we lorn about basic engineering things that used in real world

From 7th semester students are eligible to apply for placements. Tata Motors, HPCL, BHEL, L&T, Ashoka Leyland, Power Grid are some of the renowned companies that visit for campus placements often. 7 lpa is the average package and highest package till today is 22lpa.

Civil engineering program at nit srinagar strikes good balance between foundational knowledge and exposure to the trends. as curriculum includes relevent subjects,labs, practicals. and specifically civil is the oldest branch of this institue. mid sem happen after every 2 months and end sem happen after 4-5 months with moderate level of papers

Placement of our college is Good . And the placement percentage is 80 to 85 % . PSUs ( BPCL , GAIL, IOCL, etc) also come in this college and Recruit average 3 students . Average placement of Electrical is 8 LPA . Highest placement is 18 LPA from Electrical . Percentage of student Getting placed in Electrical is 85% .

The aspects of curriculum that influenced yhe descosion to choose this course were the demand in. Current society a d jobs. The curriculum prepares well for real world applications No areas for improvement The frequency and timing is great

I think in 4th year students are eligible for placements. The highest package has been around 30 lakh in cs department and avg package for electrical branch last year was 8 lpa. I am planning to persue mtech after this degree

The highest package offered for MME department is 13 lpa The average package offered for 8 lpa. I am thinking of doing M.Tech after my degree...

NIT SriNagar has Good placement records. Officially It's placement records of 2024 is not released but it's going on till now. Uper branches like CSE, IT, ECE, EE ,ME got placements more than 80 to 85%. As I heard 44 lpa was highest placement offered with 9 t0 10 lpa average package. Companies like HPCL, BEL, OIL, BPCL, EIL,GAIL, IOCL, CRC, and Big companies like Google, Samsung, cheg, IBM, Amazon etc. Previous statistics show that there was strength of 668 students .where In 2023, total 724 offers are counted and median salary was 10,48,000. Brachwise placement percentage was as: CSE : 121.12%, IT: 140.57%, ECE: 107.60%, EE: 114.7%, CHE:104.29% CIVIL: 65.59% MME: 100% ME: 141.38%. In 2023 , highest package was 36.5 lpa of CSE Student. Highest, Average and median packages (lpa) respectively of respected braches are as: CSE: 36.5, 13.8, 12; IT: 21, 11.6,12; ECE: 23,10.7, 7.5; EE: 21,9.42, 8.25; CIVIL:19,8.6,6; ME:22, 9.2, 7.3; CHE: 13.95, 8.46, 7 37; MME: 13.9, 8.6, 6.75 lpa. That was pretty good.

Course curriculum is really good because each subjects contains certain course outcomes and whatever we study we can practice easily and efficiently. Talking about the exam perspective it is not that much hectic to cover the syllabus . And if someone focuses during class hours it will become very easy to grab and helps a lot during exams . According to the priorities our course is divides in 4 credits ,3 credits, 2 credits and 1 credits course labs are often 1 credit and we are also having 0 credit course which invludes humanities courses.
