Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum is really good because each subjects contains certain course outcomes and whatever we study we can practice easily and efficiently. Talking about the exam perspective it is not that much hectic to cover the syllabus . And if someone focuses during class hours it will become very easy to grab and helps a lot during exams . According to the priorities our course is divides in 4 credits ,3 credits, 2 credits and 1 credits course labs are often 1 credit and we are also having 0 credit course which invludes humanities courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees 0 Institute fees 18500 Mess fees 20000 depend upon semester Other Fees: This may include library fees, examination fees, and miscellaneous charges, varying by institute.General and OBC Students: Family Income Below ?1 Lakh per Annum: Full tuition fee waiver. Family Income Between ?1 Lakh and ?5 Lakh per Annum: Two-thirds of the tuition fee is waived, resulting in a payable amount of ?20,833 per semester.

Campus Life

3

In my college specifically 2 fests happen 1st one name is TECHVAGANZA in spring and other one is cultural in autumn. Library has more than enough books of all genres but little small occupancy to study . Classrooms are very much nice we are having smart boards nice desks and benches also ACs . Actually classrooms are very well furnished. Sports area is super awesome here students are more interested in football and cricket here. I am personally into basketball . Here outdoor games ground we are having football , cricket, tennis ,badminton, basketball,a beautiful running track. And in indoor we are having table tennis , chess, carrom. We are having " gymkhana" which handles all the clubs and societies. In which various students are involved and also few faculty members.

Admission

I got admission here by JEE main only . I appeared in jee scored and then according to my rank i got this college in councelling . There is a councilling procedure in which we have to arrange colleges according to our priorities and choices . And if we seats are not full and you have scored enough or you cross certain cutoff of certain college that you filled then only you will get it . After i got this there was a online verification round in which i had to submit all my documents including caste and all and after that i had to report to the college and then physical verification completed and submitted all the documents there physically.

Faculty

4

In my department marking scheme is very much satisfactory because in externals we score easily by studying notes properly but in internal this becomes a huge challenge to get marks . Overall marks division is such that 26 for mid semester 50 for end semester and rest 24 is internals . According to faculty further distribution of internals can be done on the basis of attendence 8 marks and 8 marks for presentation or assignments and rest 8 for quizes or class assessments

Night Life

4

At night we are having like girls are having an end time of campus is 9:00 pm . And outside campus end time is 6:00, during winters because here during winters temperature falls down and severe cold faces by the people . And also after 10 most of the shops closed . But inside campus canteen closes around 11 and the view near dal lake from our campus during night is super awesome.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
