Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

College review of Nit Kurukshetra

Likes

Infrastructure is the best out of the all major nit's
Friendly environment is there in the campus
Market, swimming pool, lake every facility is present

Dislikes

Girls time is only till 8 30 pm which is way bad for them
5 km far from kurukshetra city, auto price is so high
Very old and rude faculty and very old curriculum

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good. Most of the people got placement at least 1 package per person. There are many aspirants for further studies like upsc, gate and cat. They also start preparing from second year.

Ragging free college seniors are supportive
Eco friendly campus ang greenery environment
Good placement , most of the professor are also good

Dislikes

College is so old so some hostels building are old
No non veg here so it's tough for non vegetarian
Mess fee is high , canteen are not good , no coach for any sports

Placement Experience:

College overall placement are good but if I talk about last year it's was not good placement percentage decrease as in Market layoffs are going on . My plan after degree is i want to prepare for civil services

Well established campus area of 300 acres. With hostel facilities including single seater room for all students 2nd year onwards. Market,gym, sports complex and transport facilities are also available within the campus itself.
High placement rates: NIT Kurukshetra has a high placement rate, with top recruiters like Amazon, Infosys and Adobe. - Good faculty: The faculty at NIT Kurukshetra is well-experienced and qualified. It provides a healthy and competitive environment.

Dislikes

Basically being a girl, i fell the hostel in time should be exceeded which is currently set to 8:30pm (even in summers) and for the safety purpose instead no. Of security guards and cameras can be increased within the campus.
The location of the college is in a backward area, which makes it difficult for students to explore the city. The nit kurukshetra fests does not attract much popularity. The participation of other colleges is certainly less as compared to other colle
Recently the 6th sem dedicated to internship has been replaced with summer internship.

Dislikes

Location factor , Kurukshetra is not the place where you can enjoy your college life , It is situated at tier 3 city .
Co-circular activities are not good and coding culture is going down from past few years

Placements are good in NIT Kurukshetra every BIG MNC come here to provide placements and internships to students of 4th and 3rd year . We have average of 18lpa in computer department . Google micrsoft visit our campus

Nit kurukshetra - my college

Likes

At nit kurukshetra I delved into advance engineering principles gaining hand on experience through projects and labs
The diverse student body and collaboration environment at nit kurukshetra fostered personal and professional growth
The exposure to cutting edge technologies and industries fascinates me the most

Dislikes

The limited infrastructure of nit kurukshetra
The hostel infrastructure is not so good
Administrative process at nit kurukshetra are often slow

Placement Experience:

At nit kurukshetra, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. top companies like Google, Microsoft and tata visit offering around 400 placements annually. The highest package is INR 40 LPA, with an average of INR 7 LPA. Around 85% of students secure placements . My plan is to pursue a career in software engineering post- graduation.

The honest review - National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra

NIT Kurukshetra is one of the highly reputed college in India. The curriculum they provide is amazing. They provide good facilities in sports too.
We have machine learning and AI course even for the core branches like mine. They focus more on practical knowledge over theoretical. Multiple laboratories and workshops are present here.
The college has a tie up with Simen company which provides training to students for industrial robots and many more.

Dislikes

The professors are strict for the core branches but not for the circuital branches.

Placement Experience:

Students from sixth semester are eligible for pre placement offers. The placements here are amazing with a good rate of more that 80% of total students placed every year. The college try it's best for placing the students in a good company. Companies like Microsoft, TCS,SubOrs and more visits often with offer ranging from 5lpa to 90lpa. The highest package in 2021 was bagged by a student of electrical engineering but that was off campus with a worth of 1.25cr per annumm. Percentage of students getting placed varries branch wise. For non circuital branches it is around 80% and for circuital it is around 95%. I am also planning to sit for placement after course completion because the offers here are too good.

Likes

The staff working here is quite friendly, they help you in every possible way and they are sweet and helpful
Seniors are helpful and humble. They always appreciate when a junior reaches out to them and asks the doubt
The strong alumni network makes NIT Kurukshetra a strong brand accross the country.

Dislikes

The campus is not so good there are not many things to explore in a campus
The location of the college is in very backward area because of that it gets difficult to explore the city
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

Placement Experience:

The students of 7-8 semester are eligible for placements. All the major companies like Microsoft, google, amazon etc visits for campus placement drive. Majority of the placement takes place in software development roles. Placements are good here but it significantly depends on your skill level. 85%+ students get placed every year. I will opt for placements after the completion of my degree.

The kurukshetra of student's life

Likes

The clubs and societies and the seniors are so helpfull
There are a lot of societies like robotics ,coding, and also cultural societies
Professors are so helpfull they even help you after classes . All Classrooms have ac which most nit or iit do not have .

Dislikes

The new branches like AI and IOT does not have their department not have much facilities
AI is not good in this nit as there is no such facilities
The college is in a small town so face problems in outside nit life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ece has gaining it's importance and job opportunities are also increasing. By 2028 ece students have approx. 70k job opportunities. It has curriculum of robotics which is very interesting and tempting. In a semester we have 3 exams which includes 2 mid sem and one end sem . The only thing I want to change that every thing should be practically teachen not theoretically.

The infrastructure is pretty good, there are air conditioned classes available so students can be comfortable
The campus size is quite big and its nicee, you have a lot of places to explore within the campus.
the sports faclities here are very good, you get to play any sport you want except for tennis

Dislikes

They have closed the 6 month leave earlier given for internships so we have to apply for it off campus
College development is not taking place and its rank is declining
the location of college is not good it is located in a remote area

Placement Experience:

So the placement opportunity is quite good because of the NIT tag. But because of the location several good companies do not employ from our college like google meta etc. Companiues like microsoft adobe come to the college for recruitment . about 70% of the students get placed and avg package is about 13-15 lpa

Real face of NIT_KURUKSHETRA

Likes

Campus is clean, its a lush green 300acre campus which is very nice nature wise.
Hostels are well equipped with Lan ports, we get around 80mbpd speed, which is nice.
for boys after first year, no hostel intime, so roam anywhere inside the campus anytime.

Dislikes

infrastructure is not upto the mark. hostels are also not well maintained (H1 , H5, H6)
physics lab does not have equipments that are working correctly.
hostel intime for girls is 8:30. so they have to compromise.

Placement Experience:

Placements are usually good in here, like last year we have something arounf 80% placemnet percet, while COE/ IT brancehes had above 95% , whch average of 20lac per annum, ECE also had average of 17lac per annum with 14lac as median package. but this recession hit the college that had affected the placements this year, only 50% of students gets placed , but theres no doubt rest of the student will get jobs as they have a NITian TAG with them

Life at NIT Kurukshetra

You will have an amazing campus life here, and You can capture memories from this institute. Various programs are conducted and have many clubs, crews, magazine festivals, societies, etc.
You can make a lot of friends but make sure to choose wisely for your well-being
The hush-green campus is incredible, giving off a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
The college is well equipped and has good infrastructure. The students have access to playgrounds, swimming pools, etc

The academic structure has entirely changed after the appointment of the new director, which is interesting and beneficial to the students.
