NIT Kurukshetra MCA admission 2024 via NIMCET are open. The MCA program at NIT Kurukshetra is based on the NIMCET scores and the registrations for the same has begun. The last date to submit the online application form is April 20, 2024. The NIMCET 2024 will take place in online mode and is scheduled for June 08, 2024.
NIT Kurukshetra offers a 3-year-long MCA program under the Department of Computer Applications. Candidates with a minimum of 60% or 6.5 CGPA in BSc/ BTech/ BCA are eligible to apply for this program. However, admission is offered strictly on the basis of the NIMCET score obtained by the students. NIT Kurukshetra MCA Eligibility & Selection Criteria
- Interested candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with securing marks of at least 60% in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
- Candidates must have completed their graduation in BCA, B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons), BIT, B.Voc (Computer Science/ Computer Applications), B.Tech, B.E., with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the mandatory subjects in full-time mode from any recognized university.
- Students belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories get a relaxation of 5% marks.
Selection: NIT Kurukshetra offers limited admissions in the MCA program and the admission is strictly based on the national level entrance test i.e. NIMCET conducted by NIT Jamshedpur. The admissions are given only after the release of the merit list prepared by the institute itself, on the basis of marks scored in NIMCET.
NIMCET Exam Pattern
The NIMCET exam 2024 will be conducted in the CBT (Computer-based Test) mode. This test will comprise 120 multiple-choice questions containing a total of 1000 marks. - Infrastructure is good having a sports ground, inter nit events facilities, swimming pool, badminton court, cricket court also many others
- Placement is very good for the BTech, there are lots of opportunities for the BTech cs it ece students, lot of company for them

- Unrelevent subjects like discreet mathematics, microprocessor, organisation behaviour, fundamental of management, these subjects just wastes of time, not help in carrier as a software engineer,
- Many exams: like two mst and one final exam that is push us for the theoretical work less practical, no forces on coding in lab only just do something which. You like in lab, only one or two lab in week which. Should be daily

I paid semester wise around 115000 per sem for the 6 sem, my seat is self finance seat while other students have regular seat so they pay around 60000 per sem, I didn't get any scholarship but 4 of my friend got up scholarship

Approx 35k tuition fee per semester,for this course only one scholarship provided known as national scholarship for pg students except that no other scholarship are present ,as it is nit so obviously campus is very good there are many places for chilling and hangout with friends

- Campus Rules that students not go outside the campus after 8:30 PM without the permission

Basically in the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, there are two types of seats in the MCA department one is Regular seats and other is Self Finance seats, Self-finance fees are too high but you only take admission in this course by Clearing the NIMCET for any seats.

Students from the SC/ST, OBC, and minority groups are eligible for government scholarships to finance the fee of 100000 such as post-matric scholarships from the central government.

Fee Structure And Facilities:
The one-semester fee including hostel rent is around Rs 50,000. The Mess charge is excluded and it comes per month. Mess charge remains around Rs 4,000 monthly. If one should apply for a Scholarship (State) then the chances for getting it is 70 to 80 percent (depends upon the state from where the candidate belongs).

The other one is the self finance in which the fees is around Rs. 1,13,000 so the students can go for these options on the basis of their rank. Because this is a B grade college so bank gives loan easily. There is state bank of india inside the college from where almost every student of college have taken the loan. Yes, loan process is quite hectic it is true and you have to show your family income also.
