Fill the application form and upload all the required documents
Pay the application fee through online mode (Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking).

Note:

The application fee is INR 3,500 for the first application and INR 1,000 for every subsequent application for the Postgraduate courses.
The application fee for each Undergraduate application will be Rs. 1500.
The candidates can apply for more than one program.

CEPT University Scholarship

The University offers several scholarships for meritorious candidates. University holds the right to reject the scholarship application, in case of the absence of any required supporting documents to be submitted by the applicant. The Scholarship will be announced along with your Admission Offer Letter; however, the amount will be disbursed after one month from the beginning of the semester/lectures.

The Pre Admissions Scholarship (Means cum Merit)

This scholarship is awarded to the students securing top merit rank in the merit list as per the University Scholarship Policy. Candidates are required to submit the online scholarship application along with the admissions application form. The applicant must submit it along with the admissions application form and the eligible applicant get to know the assured scholarship amount along with the admissions offer letter. This scholarship ranges from 25% to 100% tuition fee waiver. The Pre Admissions Scholarship (Means based) is to be availed by the students who fulfill the eligibility criteria. In the year 2023-24, 153 students received Pre Admissions Scholarship, marking a significant achievement in fostering educational opportunities. Mentioned below is the eligibility criteria:

Life at CEPT University

Library: CEPT Library Services is responsible for the maintenance of the Lilavati Lalbhai Library and all of the resources it contains. It also supports faculty members and students in enriching the teaching, learning and research experience at the University. The institute provides E-Learning resources with online access to the students.
Lab: CEPT Laboratory Services support the technical education imparted at the University with labs like a structural laboratory, environmental science, remote sensing and transportation labs GIS, and of course computer labs and superior-tech applications, etc. It provides testing facilities of surveying & leveling, Materials, Geotechnical Investigation, Concrete Technology, Mechanics, and Infrastructure Engineering.
Workshops: CEPT University Workshop plays an integral role in supporting learning through hands-on experimentation, exploration of materials, model making, and prototyping. The workshop has dedicated facilities for working in wood, metal, ceramic, textile, model-making, and a Fabrication-Lab.
IT Services: CEPT IT Services offers support to all activities conducted within the Information and communication technology requirements.

Student view on course curriculum

Choice based curriculum allows us to pursue our interests and not follow a fixed curriculum. This allows us to engage and interact more with the work. The learning of each individual is different throughout the entire course.

Internship opportunity provided by the college

Students have to complete their 6 months internship diring 4th or 5th year. For which students are allowed to go anywhere in the world. Any discipline of the firm's work is allowed. Students explore and get real work experience during the internship.

Total fees of the course

Fees for one academic year at CEPT UNIVERSITY is 3.2 lakhs for students enrolled in year 2022. Now due to the increasing campus infrastructure, the fees are increasing everyyear for new batches. All the fees( tuition fees, development fees, lab fees) are included. While the expenses for materials, site visits, stay is additional for wvery semester.

Various activities organize in the campus

CEPT campus provides the best life, various club are working which allows our interaction outside the university. The campus is very open which allows peer learning from all disciplines. The students can work from any place on campus.

Student views on the faculty and exams

For a class of 15 students we have one or two faculties, with one Teaching assistant. The faculties give inputs on the work and motivate us to present more work. They guide us throughout the semester. There are no exams but we have jury presentation twice a semester, in which we present pur work to outside faculties

Eligibility Criteria of the college

The exposure that Cept provides made me choose CEPT over any other institution. Even the students in one batch are from all over india, which helps in peer learning. Also some very hardworking architects are our tutors, which helps us in our learning.

Night Life

The campus is present in the city centre thats why it allows for all the activities to take place. Very famous CEPT khau gali is present outside campus, so students can have dinner outside. During the jury week the campus is open 24 by 7, during which canteens are open for students to have snacks at night.

CEPT University Scholarship 2025

Scholarship provided by the college.

The Pre Admissions Scholarship (Means cum Merit)

This scholarship is awarded to the students securing top merit rank in the merit list as per the University Scholarship Policy. 153 students received Pre Admissions Scholarship, providing financial support to the deserving candidates. Candidates are required to submit the online scholarship application with the admissions application form. The applicant must submit it along with the admissions application form and the eligible applicant get to know the assured scholarship amount along with the admissions offer letter. This scholarship ranges from 25% to 100% tuition fee waiver. The Pre Admissions Scholarship (Means based) is to be availed by the students who fulfill the eligibility criteria. Mentioned below is the eligibility criteria:

Eligibility criteria:

Candidates with a family income less than INR 10 lacs per annum are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Recipients of the scholarship will continue to receive the scholarship for the full duration of the program, subject to maintaining the minimum result as per the scholarship offer letter.

Work-Based Scholarships:

Students are encouraged to take up these assistantships to give hands-on experience and develop skills beyond classroom study. It involves them helping faculty in research, and teaching activities or taking up the given work in the different University offices including libraries, archives, laboratories, workshops, and student services. Requirements for the same are put up by the concerned depts. and payment is calculated on an hourly basis.

Select an option and upload at least one document
Income Tax Returns of all earning family members for the last two years along with a copy of Detailed Income Computation. ( the Financial year 2020-21- Assessment Year 2021-22).
OR If the Parent(s) is a salaried employee, Form 16 Copy/Salary Certificate issued by Employer for last two years i.e. Financial year 2020-21 & Financial year 2021-22.
List of Immovable Properties and Investments owned by the family along with Approx. Market Value as on 31.3.2022. (Format available in the scholarship form)
Copy of Bank statement from January 2022 to till date.
Students undertaking that they are not recipients of any other government/private scholarships or grants or benefits. (Format available in the scholarship form)
Income declaration by parents/guardians, stating definite income as per the Income tax return Financial Year 2022-23 from all sources by way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.50 is required. (Format available in the scholarship form)
Copy of Bank passbook or blank crossed cheque of the bank (Account must be in the name of the student applying for Scholarship).
Educational Expenses of other siblings and any Government/Other help. (Format available in the scholarship form)
Receipt of Fee payment of the last semester attended at the last School/College/University.

Admission:

I applied in Cept, Nirma and Anant through ACPC forms. My first preference was Cept and i was accepted in the same. NATA is the elegibility exam for the course along with 12th exam marks which forms the final merit.

I applid for the old collage that i used to study and but teaching ther was not good as guest faculty are there who are doing phd l. So generally they dont have high knowledge. But here there is fabulous teaching skills at cept. For admission You have to first give an cept entrance exam Then you have to clear interview.

The campus is open from 7am to 12pm everyday allowing students to spend more time on campus which helps them to engage and explore more with their work.

Dislikes

Dogs present on the campus create nuisance, which destroys our drawings sheets and models

I applied to ISDI, UID and BITS Design I was accepted into all of them but the main factor to chose CEPT was it is a 62 year old college with an established name in the industry and a well connected network of alumni all the other colleges did not have this, another thing was the rest were too expensive. The admission process for my college is very simple for design they accept the UCEED rank, for architecture and planning they accept NATA scores and for civil engineering they accept JEE Main ranks the process is completely merit based. And the common minimum eligibility is 40% aggregate percentage in 12th grade examination. The admission process is very streamlined and hassle free

Likes

There is a good democracy within the administration and the student council also commands certain power. The views of the students and faculties are kept in mind.

Dislikes

The maintenance of some of the roads on the campus.
The management of wildlife on the campus.

Admission:

I chose this college over other colleges because of its legacy and great academics. The program in this college is very modern and unique and teaches the students to follow their own passions. One other point is also the location of Ahmedabad, which is very architecturally, rich and possess many buildings made by great architects and the exposure you get here is unmatched. The admission processes are fairly simple where a list is given out on the basis of Nata and boards. According to this list, the students are offered admission. we just have to show up with the documents and the process is very simple. Other government colleges follow very long processes, and you often get frustrated.

Likes

The atmosphere in the college is brilliant
The staff, the students, other facilities are amazing and friendly

Dislikes

The sports facilities should have been more, but that doesn't not matter with the amount of studies required
There is nothing to be disliked much it's a good college

Admission:

CEPT University which is a design college, needs various exams to get into various courses. For example, architecture needs nata, design needs uceed, and bct needs jee. The admission process is done online and is very convenient and fast.

Culture of the campus, people work day and night on campus in their studios. sometimes we take our toothbrushes to college during juries

Dislikes

The work stress can be a lot sometimes but it is totally worth it.
Ac in studios as it can be very humid in ahmedabad which leads to students having heatstrokes

The admission process is very simple. you need to give the uceed exam, and apply in the cept portal. as and when your name comes on the list, they will personally email you the offer letter. the admissionis based on your rank. the rank is good, you can apply for merit scholarships too.

CEPT- a student's insight

Likes

I liked the inclusive nature of the campus, with everyone being really open minded.
There is always something going on on campus- be it an exhibition, a cultural night, the band playing music or just a screening of a movie.

Dislikes

There is little to no time to pursue extra curriculars.
It is a very high pressure institute with a lot of work demand. So, sometimes, a work life balance is missing.

Cept life

Admission:

The course I pursued is a bachelor's in the interior. But from now it's changed to a bachelor's in design which is a bigger window of the design field and it's eligible for all 12th-grade students from any stream. UCEED is compulsory for all design students. Application forms, fees, and dates its available on the Cept University website. All quota reservations like ST SC OBC is an available and 50 percent ACPC for Gujarat students. Cept is improving daily as cept has TLC members who take care of academics, and a student council who forward the problems from the GB to the cept council. And a lot of people manage campus curricula and management. The fees, it's high because of the infrastructure, full-time college, and the facility for the students. The new program bdes which is a bachelor in Design and communication design. I just finished the last year of my college it was a great experience and journey.

For master in housing design eligibility specified on the CEPT admissions website, it is a bachelor of architecture with 55% per cent while for the reserved category, it is 50%. the application form is an online process, one has to visit the Cept admission portal and log in there, further follow the procedure. the admission process is very smooth and easy to follow.

There is no minimum marks criteria in Class 12th for admissions to B.Arch. You need to have a score in JEE Mains or NATA. After which, on the basis of your score in CEPT entrance exam, you will get admission to B.Arch.
