The course fees is high and the package offered was less making it difficult to compensate
Placement Experience:
Before the placements after the completion of the second semester, students can also do their optional internship. But over the years the students have found these internships very beneficial and the committees help the students to get through the placements as much as possible. Once the students have completed their third semester the placement procedure begins. The placement is well coordinated by the placement committee where reputed firms be a part of this process. During my batch, 95% of the transport students got placed. The ones who did not get placed were by choice as they had their commitments. The highest package offered was around 8 lakh per annum.
Campus facilities and infrastructure are of good standard.
Winter and summer exhibitions invite more people from outside to campus and provide opportunities for both students and management to showcase the high quality works.
Faculties are well qualified and cept conduct many conferences and such academic events which gives exposure to students.

The hostel facilities require improvement
Placement Experience:
The placements are good and vary depending on the course. Masters in Urban Infrastructure has 100% placement for past years. Other departments are good enough too with 40-60% placement.
The average package for a Master's in Urban Design is 6L per annum.
As I was already doing my Bachelor's in Urban Planning from the same University so I had already planned that I will continue my Masters in Urban Planning from the same University.
As I had already so much interest in planning and architecture so I completed my B.Arch from Chandigarh College of Engineering and I was in the search of a good planning college and came across to this college and took admission.
For admission, I cleared the entrance test conducted by the University, it is known as the CEPT University Entrance Test. After clearing the entrance test, I cleared GD/PI and got the admission.
The admission process is simple and easy yet because you have to only qualify an entrance exam conducted by the CEPT university and submit the document for eligibility checking and qualifying the GD/PI round, you get the admission.
Overall we can say this university is the best university for the Architecture course and planning course because of the facilities provided by this university.
Overall this university is a very good university in everything. Every program is here taught with practical knowledge. Both the teaching and nonteaching faculties are very supportive and helpful.
After clearing the entrance test conducted by CEPT University, I went for checking the marks of the previous degree so that they can allow me for the GD/PI, after clearing the same I got the admission.
