- I liked the inclusive nature of the campus, with everyone being really open minded.
- There is always something going on on campus- be it an exhibition, a cultural night, the band playing music or just a screening of a movie.
Dislikes
- It is a very high pressure institute with a lot of work demand. So, sometimes, a work life balance is missing.
- There is little to no time to pursue extra curriculars.

Internships Opportunities:
Cept University tends to hire a lot of students from Cept. One can intern in the campus or choose a design studio to work with. A lot of the faculty who teach at Cept are also part of the industry and have good connections. Their network gives students an opportunity to find their niche and intern in design studios across the globe. There are also exchange programs with foreign universities, which gives students an opportunity to build their network in different places.
Internships Opportunities:
Workshopinc is the name of a design firm where I did my internship in Ahmedabad only with a stipend of 7000. The role is to perform and handle everything like an employee over the six months making design to the execution of projects.
Likes
- The faculties are amazing in terms of the experience, supportive and helpful.
- The campus life is amazing and much to be explored.
Dislikes
- The course fees is high and the package offered was less making it difficult to compensate
Internships Opportunities:
Center of Excellence in Urban Transport, CRDF, CEPT University is where I interned and received a stipend of 12,000. I worked on a research project related to active mobility under Prof. Shivanand Swamy who is among the renowned person in the transport domain.
Likes
- Campus facilities and infrastructure are of good standard.
- Winter and summer exhibitions invite more people from outside to campus and provide opportunities for both students and management to showcase the high quality works.
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities require improvement
Internships Opportunities:
CEPT has signed MOU with many authorities like CMDA, KILA, etc which gives students more opportunities than other colleges. Internship providing opportunities to work directly under development authorities Mayor etc.
Likes
- CEPT Campus and the students over are the best part of the whole course.
- MCEM course is taught is an applicable manner, and make students industry ready.
Internships Opportunities:
The internship chances are good since CEPT has a strong alumni network, the firms do recognize CEPT students for internships and PAN India internships are available for students. Contractors, PMC and other consultants offer internships at CEPT.
Internships Opportunities:
We are supposed to do a 6-month internship in any one of the last 4 semesters. The work we do in this internship is reviewed by college faculties later and the companies report our timely performance to the university.
Placement Experience:
I dont have exact specific names for it, although lots of firms are interested to hire cept students. Most of the students start their own business after this course. The highest salary package was 1000000, and average was 5 LPA. I was satisfied enough.
Placement Experience:
CEPT university has a very good placement rate. About 90% of students from our college get placed into prestigious organizations. Some of the organizations that actively recruited students are KPMG, CBRE, PWC, AECOM, etc. Some of the job profiles we get placed for are as urban planners, community developers, etc. The packages offered are of an average of 4 lpa . However it can go up to 9 lpa .
Placement Experience:
Top recruiters who visited our campus placement were PWC, TATA Trusts, CIDCO, CDSA, CRISIL, KPMG, UMC, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, etc. who hires most talented students from the campus. The average salary package ranges between INR 7 lpa to INR 8 lpa . Almost 80-90% of the students get hire from the placement fair.
Internships Opportunities:
It offers an opportunity to the students to work on live projects through its Summer and Winter Schools (SWS). In the previous SWS, students have favoured workshop sessions, activities that are installation oriented and those which require travel. The University also has a Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) that facilitates several workshops, sharing of good teaching practices, faculty development and innovation in teaching methods.
