CEPT University is an old and reputed university. It ranks among the top universities for architecture. It has great faculty and environment. The culture on the campus is quite friendly. You can easily approach the faculties.
The campus is huge and well-equipped with up-to-date facilities and teaching methodology. The staff and student union on campus are also quite co-opearative.
Which will be better between SPA Delhi and CEPT University depending on the course you are choosing. If you want to pursue a B.Plan or B.Arch degree then SPA Delhi is a better choice. For a master’s degree, both of these colleges are decent options. However, the fee structure of the institutes is quite different. So, do your research on both institutes before choosing any of these institutes.
NICMAR has an edge over CEPT because of the wide choice of specializations. Especially if you choose a course related to the construction industry and other common courses then you will have a wide range of job opportunities. You can even get job offers from the IT sector. But, you should choose a course based on your interest.
CEPT University has its own selection process. The screening process for PG admission usually consists of an objective examination followed by GD and a personal interview. If you choose CEPT then you will have to work hard to get a job. It is well known in all of Asia and has one of the best civil engineers. The faculty is highly qualified, its alumni are working in MNCs and most of them get annual trips abroad.
Lastly, if you are not from Ahmedabad you will have to stay at the CEPT hostel which is an awesome place to stay, as you will see for yourself if you so choose to be.
Be mindful of the fees because both SVNIT and Nirma charge more about the quality they provide.
There are placements available and it depends solely from one course to another. Same goes to the percentage of placements and the packages available. But for the Bachelor's of technology the package is around 4-5LPA
The faculty to student ratio is 1:10. The faculties are very approachable. There are no exams in first year as it is for building our foundation (unless you take technology there will be exams). But if you do not clear the first year with minimum credits required you will be asked to retake the entire year once more. And if you by chance fail to get the required grade in a module in the first year you will have to take extra classes.
There are many fests and clubs available in CEPT. And multiple festival events arranged as well. All these are managed by students themselves. Many sports matches events between on course to another also occurs.
In the hostel the room is provided with a bathroom and two beds with matress shared with two per room. There are desks provided with chairs and two cupboards. There is a mess in the hostel but it is to be seperately paid and does not come under the hostel fees. There are two busses which move from the hostel to the campus. The rooms and bathrooms are cleaned once a day
