- The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) for Fresh and Renewal Applications under the National Scholarship for Higher Education for ST Students for the year 2024-25 has been extended. The ST students of SPAV can apply for this scholarship, the last date to apply is November 15, 2024, and the last date for Verification of Applications by the institution is November 30, 2024.
- SPAV has also released the notice for extension of timeline for Central Sector Schemes on NSP for the academic year 2024-25. The last date to apply is November 15, 2024. The last date for INO Level verification (L1) is November 30, 2024 and the last date for DNO/ SNO level verification (L2) is December 15, 2024.

About SPAV
School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, was first established on the 7th of July 2008, and ten years later, it shifted its activities to a permanent campus. Also known as SPAV, it obtained the 18th position and 3rd position among the top architectural colleges in India by NIRF and India Today respectively.
Sprawled across an area of 9.66 acres, the institution offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate programs in Architecture and Planning. The admission procedure is based on merit in the previous qualifying examinations and entrance tests. In addition, written tests, viva voce, as well as personal interviews are also conducted. School of Planning and Architecture Vijayawada Scholarship
School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, awards scholarships for Under-graduate and Post -graduate students in Architecture and Planning under following categories:
- GATE/NET Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to the P.G students of M.Plan and M.Arch programmes based on valid GATE/NET score secured by them as per Government of India norms. Under this scheme, eligible GATE/NET qualified students will get a scholarship of INR 8000 per month per student.
- Merit Scheme: The scholarship for the first year will be awarded based on performance in the first semester examination. This will be applicable for whole of first year and the amount of scholarship will be payable from the date of admission to the programme. For the second year, the selection of candidates for scholarship will be done on the basis of the result of the first year i.e. cumulative performance of first and second semesters. The candidates who have appeared in the GATE/NET examinations and received scores in order of merit will be eligible to apply for Scholarship under this scheme.
- Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme particulars for PG students: This scholarship is offered to students with Gross Annual family income of not more than INR 3 Lakhs. This scholarship is also available for students who have appeared in the GATE/NET examinations. Under this scholarship, for the whole of first year the award will be based on 1st semester examination. For 2nd year, selection of candidates is based on the result of the first year.
- Central Government Scholarships
- Top Class Education to SC students(by Min.of Social Justice,GoI): This scholarship is offered to SC students for Books & Stationary / Computer / Laptop. To avail this scholarship, their is a parental income limit of INR 4.5 lakhs per annum. Under this scheme 10 scholarships are released for SPA Vijayawada students.
- Top Class Education to ST students(by Min.of Tribal Welfare,GoI): This scholarship is offered to ST students for Books & Stationary / Computer / Laptop. To avail this scholarship, their is a parental income limit of INR 4.5 lakhs per annum. Under this scheme 10 scholarships are released for SPA Vijayawada students.

Actually i applied for the SPAD , and SPAB before this , If i was getting the change to get into the SPAD , i was very happy to be there . I am happy here though ,i got SPAB before this college . But i choose this as i am from the south i wanted to be in south or in the delhi that was the only 2 options that i had from my home and bty my heart.

- Hostels here are so good. The sanitation, the neatness and everything is good. In each room only 2 People or 1 person is alloted. There is nature inside hostels. We can enjoy a lot here
- Freedom ... You have so much freedom such that you can literally fly as you wish. You can do whatever you wish here. No one will force you. Everything will be so smooth here.
Admission:
I haven't applied for any other college. I came here through jee mains. Mainly I wanted to do something different other than engineering and I love drawing so much. I tried for architecture but i didn't secure much marks. So now with a planning background, I'll pursue bachelor's in spa Vijayawada and after this I'll go for civils. The admission process is simple . Just give the requested documents, fill the form that management provides and pay the fee. That's it

- The infrastructure of the campus is very good,and is made up by full concrete.learning facilities are also good,and the teacher teaches do nicely and in a fun way.

- In college its very humid and hot and is difficult for the people having heat problem
- Ac is not in the studio,and it gets difficult in summer to do work

Details of reservation benefit is also availed in the website. The exams are of 3 hours and in the moderate level so we can easily pass and learn.

- Oat and Sky. There are many oats for interactions and the sky is amazing.They change beautifully.

- Mess food . I personally don't like mess food. May be because I come from Kerala the menu here I don't like .
- Hot . It's so hot during Summers and every hostel room and class room will be extremely hot. And sun is also very harsh
