DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

With the start of the 7th sem, the student starts to sit for placements, maang, and all top companies visit the campus every yr, 80 lac is the highest domestic package till now by Atlassian, and 97-98% of students get placed every yr. My plan after getting a degree is to apply for a master's abroad or in a better college.

As per the views I got from the seniors, almost every individual gets placed before leaving college. More than 100 companies visit every year and around 1500 approx offers are provided to students. Many students even get PPO from the internships they get.

placements are quite good around here. I won't say that for internships as there are mostly cgpa criteria and gender criteria. almost everyone gets placement belonging to cs related braches with avg package of 15lpa.

Campus placements start in the final semester and last till the end of college. Companies like Apple, Microsoft, Google, Twitter, McKinsey, zomato, and many start-ups also visit around 320 companies visited last year extending more than 2000 offers with an average of around 15 lacs. The highest package on campus was 65 lacs and off campus 1.9 cr More than 95% of students get the placements who opt for placements I started working just after completing graduation and currently, I am preparing for the regulatory authorities exams

All the students with no current backlogs are eligible for campus placements after the 6th semester. A lot of companies come to DTU every year like Microsoft(51.03 LPA), Trilogy Innovations(36.5 LPA), Sprinklr(30 LPA), and many more. The highest international offer was 1.84 crore per annum (Palantir, London). 97.45% of students got placed. My plans are to become a software engineer in a MNC after getting the degree.

6th semester onwards students are eligible for placements. A lot of companies visit such as Amazon Microsoft Google DE shaw Morgan Stanley Daily hunt Ola Uber TCS Cognizant Etc. The highest package offered by amazon is 1.2 crores outside India. The average package is around 15 lakhs for all branches Around 24 lakhs for COE and IT and SE branches respectively. According to the placement point of view selection, order is Coe>IT>SE>MnC>ECE>Ep or EE>others w.r.t. interest. I am planning to do a job in a multinational company for 3 years and then start a venture.

The course curriculum is quite old and teachers are friendly in nature but some teachers are strict but that are few in numbers. Teachers are well qualified in their domain. But have to study a little bit on your own.

If you are in this college dont take the tension of placement but maintain your cgpa if your cgpa is greater than 9 then you would get the big package and my plans after taking the degree is simple to take good placements

After the 5th semester, you are eligible to apply for internships and placement. At this time very less companies visiting for core placement, most of the companies hire in tech or consultancy, and in core sectors like civil, mechanical, environmental, etc very few companies visit our campus. But around 250 to 350 companies visit our every year in our campus, and around 40% company hire from all branches, so if you have skills according to their requirements toy will get placement.

7th sem students become eligible for college placement highest package goes around 50 L whereas the average is around 15L for branch ece. Me would preferably go for placement here at my college. 80% of student get placement
