DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students become eligible for on campus internships during their 3rd year or 5th semester and for full time opportunities during the 4th year. Greater than 200 companies visit the campus and have given out greater than 800 offers recently to undergraduate students. Highest package being 64lpa and average being between 15-20lpa. Almost 50% of tech batch is placed despite market slowdown. My personal plan after getting a degree being doing a job itself.

It's a 4 year undergraduate course and the quality of faculties is superb. Delhi Technological University holds an impeccable record in placement statistics and it's also considered a tier 1 college. Faculties are highly qualified.

Dtu has a good track record of providing placements to its students . You can sit in placements from 6th semester however you can get on campus internships from 4th semester onwards. Around 300 comapanies visit the college for on campus placements. In the concluded placement session almost 1850 students were placed out of 2000 students, rest 150 either opted for higher education or startups. Highest package was 1.83crore per year and average package is 12-13 lpa.

Placement is better than some of the national institute of technology and even the newer Indian institute of technologies The placement session of this year is slow because of recession but the highest packages are in crores generally and average is around fourteen fifteen lakh per annum

I chose this course as it will be in demand in future and it aligns with my interest. Faculty to students ratio is average according to multiple universities but I think it's on the upper side of that Faculty are highly qualified as they are majority PHD in various filed of engineering Mid sem occur in 2 month from the start of the semester and end sem occur after 1.5 months from midsem.It is particularly hard to pass the exams but it depend on the subject teachers how they set the paper

I m a fresher, so basically i don't have any real opinion on it. But as I've heard from my seniors. The placements here is good compared to other colleges. In my branch, we get an avg of 20L/annum

Placement Statics are very good. After 6the sem students can sit for campus placements. Many companies have visited campus almost all big MNCs and international recrutiors visited DTU. Highest package was around 32 lakh from our department in tech field. Almost everyone get placed somethere who sits for placements. My plan is to work on my startup idea so that I can create jobs for the society.

in computer science btech i think the highest placement was about 1cr off campus or on i dont know and regarding placement i dont know much as i am still a first year but would update as i continue in college

I chose this course curriculum as electronics has a lot of scope in future as we can have chip factories in India. Faculty is qualified but not good. Exams are not tough we can pass them by studying pyq and by YouTube

From the third year the placement companies come on campus. A lot of big companies like Google, Amazon,etc as well as small companies visit campus each year. Highest package recorded was 82.05 lpa in 2023 and average package is 16 lpa. Placement ratio varies from 88-93 %. My plan is to get placed in a decent software based company after getting degree.
