Like my thermal teacher is amazing and wonderful sir they have amazing knowledge and wonderful mind set about everything.
Scholarships are very good, and dtu scholarships and govt scholarships like mcm are easily getable.
Placement is pretty amazing. also it is one the best core jobs providing universities in india.

Dislikes

The scholarships and financial assistant are there but they are not that easy to avail.
Due to recession less companies are coming in college which is affecting all over placements.
Hostel not provided to delhi region students...dtu has enough space for hostels but not made.. day scholars suffers alot...a very big disadvantage

DTU in a nutshell

Likes

The college has a very chill environment among students. Also it becomes more exciting in the time of college fest. It have a big campus for dinner sports and cultural activities. More than 150 club present in the DTU for exploring your interest

Dislikes

Hostels room are too congested. Area around DTU is not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

DTU is 9 pointer college. Its academic curriculum is well structured and Designed. But Its exam pattern seem to be same as in the school because You have exams Coming in every 1½ month. That makes the academic calendar little bit hectic. Overall Exams here have fairly good standard. Easy to score if you have studied one week before exams.

Campus Life is so good as u get a 165 acre big campus.
Facilities like a well maintained sport's complex
Library is also very good fully air conditioned huge library with plenty of books

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good as in this recession time the average computer science branch package was 24 lpa so if you do hardwork you will definitely get a placement with good package around 250 companies have given placements in college

Everything not a single thing that can be disliked.

Dislikes

Nothing in particular just that hostel is not given to everyone.
Gender Ratio is on a lower side. But not a big problem I guess.

Placement Experience:

For campus Placement, you can apply after your 3 year. Many companies come such as Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, etc. Highest package can reach crores in ctc and average varies branch to branch. You can either do job or pursue higher studies too.

Life In DTU

Likes

College life is amazing in delhi technological University
Campus of Delhi technological University is awesome.
Placement rates are also amazing.Everything is perfect.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year companies start hiring i.e. from the 7th semester while internships take place in the 5th semester. The highest package in my branch in 2022 was 84 Lakhs per year and the average was 20 lakhs per year. Around 80% of students got placed.

Eye Opener DTU

Likes

Fest of DTU is largest fest of North Indian and fest fest of all colleges.
Sports complex of DTU contain 400 m track , football as well as two basketball court.
Hostel of DTU contain three to four hostel separate for each year .

Dislikes

Attendance in DTU is also 75 per compulsory
Hostel Mess can be improved in some off the day s

Placement Experience:

Placements of DTU are the best they are mostly compared to best NITs of India. But from two years due to Recession in engineering field placement rate has reduced. But from two three years students are planning their own startup and getting funded from DTU itself for example of first year student get 100 on his idea of helping each and every students in getting help in his admission or admission in colleges or related to college and courses engineering or any other field.

Likes

Campus life is really good and quite chill
Hostel facilities are great and girls from Delhi can get the hostel too
Campus infrastructure is way beyond good

Dislikes

Monkey in campus do create a nuisance at times
Mess food is okayish,not too good but not bad either
As times the teachers are quite careless.

The curriculum has integrated subjects of coding for each branches which is very helpful.they even conduct workshops and seminars for each branches which bridges the institute -industry gap really well.

Likes

The college has chill life. Not much attendance issue.
The seniors are good and helpful and supportive.
The fests and events that take place over the year are great.

Dislikes

The teachers are not interested to teach.
The environment and surroundings outside the college is not really great.
The syllabus is outdated and it kills the curiosity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is outdated and there are many things taught that are not actually working at present. I am really interested in computer science field but I am actually learning it from youtube videos rather than college. In first year they literally teach some subjects like physics, ece, that I would never ever use in my life.

Supportive Faculty and quality of teaching
Curriculum is properly designed and skillfully based

Location of campus area, and campus size
Leniency in strictness due to which students don't take things seriously
Strict 75% attendance criteria failing which you will be detained

Placement Experience:

Third year college students become eligible for campus placements having minimum criteria of 7+ CGPA Companies recruiting for Management and Research based , accounting, types companies visit here for placements including Google , Microsoft and TCS Average package rangers from 5 lpa to 8lpa Highest package touched 12 lpa Many students opt for Further masters like MBA which makes a good combination.

DTU is a perfect place for one who is looking for a perfect college life and a good Job.

Likes

Campus area is pretty huge around 164 acres.
Placement scenario is pretty good and can be compared to top IITs
Alumni connect and exposure will be very helpful for young engineers.

Dislikes

Increasing number of student intake may lead to some issues in future

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the tech courses in DTU are pretty much same as they target your development for placements. All the tech courses are 50-60% same and rest 50-40% will be the specialisation that course offers. There are 2 semester in 1 year each semester consists 2 exams (Mid sem and End sem) making it 4 exam in an year.
