My department faculty are good .they are very helpful and friendly nature .my department teacher communication are also good ,they know very well how to manage a class ,how to make a bad student in good department.
Renowned companies such as dainik bhaskar and navbharat times visit the campus, offering placements to smart and bright students.
Fees is really less as compared to the given facility and opportunities here national scholarship and state scholarship also available here internship also available campus is very good neat and clean..

Dislikes

There's no placement opportunities provided here which is a negative point. it makes a huge impact on the future of student.
Canteen is though providing snacks and all but quality is not so good and secondly the university is far from main city so students are having problem in maintaining their breakfast and lunch
Here in chemistry department the faculty to student ratio is low we dont have subject specific teacher plus the lack of equipment is becoming a obstacles for student to grow further faculty is not interested in overall development of student

the honesty of students

Likes

my collage is a 2nd tire collage and it is spreaded across 650 acer. the infrastructure should be needed to be improved
There are lots of activity across the university and departments
gives lots of experiences and makes contact with students from other states

Dislikes

the professors are a little bit old type of cultural people with strict
the infrastructure is too old to compareing with other collages

Placement Experience:

from 4th semesters companies started to hire students as their interns. and most of the 7th semester students get offer letters . The average placement of my department is 3 lakh per year. 25 percentage of students are getting placed in the collage placement

University campus is good full of greenery trees plants and faculties staff of University are supportive and helpful to students
Campus Life is good and social interaction is good as their multiple courses and students from several states comes here social interaction also available
Faculty teaching us good and supportive always available to help and guide students

Dislikes

Less equipment in gymaniam it should bring latest equipment for gym

Courses curriculum has been set ub such a way that it help in several part such as to clear a base of competitive exam such as GATE, BARC. And understand the industrial application and how to apply in rela world but some amount of modification need to be done in changing technologies in today's world

Do know the college properly before joining it

Course fee is very affordable, and campus is very big and have sports facility to play different games.
Infrastructure is good and professor are highly qualified.
classes are very regular and labs are in good condition

Dislikes

internet is very slow in the campus and also college wifi speed is average
clubs are just for names not many programs do hold. So, interactions between different branches students are not that good. and also football ground is only accessible to sports department not even in tournament also.
attendance is very strict and every month there is a test and one semester is completed within a span of 3 months. only 7 to 10 days winter break, so there is only summer vacation were we do get the chance to go home

Placement Experience:

placements in this college is not that good , and im from civil branch so im not even going to get placement if i do get its is going to be very low around 2 to 3 lpa. from what i know i think students from 4 th year are only eligibe to seat in placements.Highest ever package i think is around 50lpa which is off campus. very few percentage of students do get placed. My aim after my degree is to give government exams and do something related to farming , agriculture , plantation

The learning opportunities is college is so much, you can explore various fields. The faculty is very supporting and encouraging that helps you to showcase your skills and learn different skills also.
In the college there are very good computer labs with updated software's and high-speed processors, huge library.
There is always some event going on in the college in which you can participate and showcase your skills and can meet with like-minded people and can gain confidence and leadership skills

Dislikes

The examinations are more based on theoretical knowledge rather than on the practical.
The classes are not scheduled properly, and timetable is not being followed strictly.
The coding subject paper should be taken on computers through coding not on the paper.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester Several companies visit the campus for recruitment including TCS, L&T, ServiceNow, and many other companies. The highest package offered was 17-18 LPA by American Express for software Engineer roles and the average package across all profiles was approximately 5 - 6 LPA. The percentage of the students should be above 70% some companies also have a no backlog or no ATKT criteria. After obtaining my degree, I plan to pursue a career in software development. I am going for placements and trying to achieve a software developer role in a good company.

Reality of GGV from a student of GGV

Ambience of the college & infrastructure is also improved lots in recent 2 years
Many NSS & NCC activites is been seen in the college making a high possibility of social interactions with other departments
There are some amazing faculties who do actually provide you some amazing opportunities as well as help in various fields of your journey

Dislikes

Placements need to be improved as of there are companies with less packages also been seen during placements that provide about 12-13k per month
Many equipments in lab were damaged in my time might have changed too.
Some faculties aren't good enough but still got an excellent experience

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year itself students are eligible for campus placements. Due to the recession there are only some companies visited the college in IT related field but the companies from other field also visited like Thermax but offered lesser package the average package is of 3 lakhs per annum in ECE but major of students opted for Higher education or prep for gate/govt. Exams too. I am also the one who opted preparation for govt. Services for 2023 batch the highest package was 6.5lpa & average is about 2.5-3lpa

Environment is too good for studying , college has good and big campus and teachers are very chill and talented

About the placement is not to good but you can learn many things practical knowledge mainly

Course Curriculum Overview:

Courses are just like IITs and NITS BEST branch course and mainly practical knowledge are very good and labs have best machinery for mechanical specially, and civil engineering labs and projects works are too realistic

Review of my university (GGU, central university)

Likes

Central library of our University is really huge
Sports complex is amazing with all game equipments
Labs are provided with proper and updated systems

Dislikes

Hostel for second,third and fourth year students of Btech stream
Food for second,third and fourth year students
Transportation is not available as the university is vast.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester we will be eligible for the placements and the eligibility criteria for placement cell is the cgpa of a student should be minimum of 7cgpa. The highest package is 50Lpa from American express. The average package will be approx. 7LPA. The percentage of students get placed is around 70%

Likes

We have separate department for every separate branch.
The faculty is very experienced so we can learn easily
There are all types of sports indoor and outdoor

Dislikes

Btech 2nd,3rd,4th year hostels are very old
Still the placements should be devloped
The internships should be implemented very well

Placement Experience:

There are very very less placements in our college. But year by year they are gradually increasing. And our university is ranked as naac A++ . So after the graduation my plan is to get seat in the gate exam and to complete the course mtech. There are only 30-40 percent getting placed

Campus of the college is one of the best in india .
Classroom and faculty are one of the best and are highly qualified . They help students in every aspects they can .
Classroom , laboratory, faculty and other staffs are vest in middle india

Dislikes

Less co curricular activities occur as compared to other universities.
Placement is somehow low form todays aspect.
As its a central university politics is going on every alternative day for every good to stupid thing

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities is not high as compared to other colleges but it gives opportunities for those only with good skill and mind. Average package is 5-6 lpa which is not high but a pretty good salary .

College students are very diverse, students form many states take admission
There 32 department in this university so you can interact with them very for growth.
Cultural fest is the biggest highlight of this college specially for Holi and tech fest etc fest are amazing.

Dislikes

Placement opportunities are one of the worst thing here.

It was quite good experience I opt for industrial and production engineering in BTech department of GGU Bilaspur. Then we were called for physical reporting in our college and do physical counseling and confirm the seats that were allotted to us.
