Course Curriculum Overview

4

The GGU curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, offering a strong foundation in theoretical and practical aspects. It prepares students for real-world applications and includes all the necessary subjects used in the industry. The exams are fairly spaced, with a balanced difficulty level, and the timings are enough for preparation. The course curriculum can be improved by providing industry experience and guest lectures. Even regular assignments would enhance the student's understanding of the subject.

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester Several companies visit the campus for recruitment including TCS, L&T, ServiceNow, and many other companies. The highest package offered was 17-18 LPA by American Express for software Engineer roles and the average package across all profiles was approximately 5 - 6 LPA. The percentage of the students should be above 70% some companies also have a no backlog or no ATKT criteria. After obtaining my degree, I plan to pursue a career in software development. I am going for placements and trying to achieve a software developer role in a good company.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

You can avail of the scholarship for financial aid you have to submit the required documents to the administration of the college and check whether you are eligible for scholarships or not, if yes then you can apply for the scholarship portal of your domicile state and can avail the facility of scholarships.

Campus Life

4.5

The Techfest Equilibrio is usually organized in January/February. This technical fest focuses on technical workshops, hackathons, some interesting quizzes, and games. Apart from Engineering other departments also organise some festivals which they celebrate with great zeal and joy. The Central Library has a comprehensive range of books and journals, and students can issue the books for 7-14 days otherwise they can study in the library as per their convince. Classrooms are well equipped with smart boards and projectors for interactive learning. A good internet connection is also there to access resources. Students have access to cricket, and football grounds anytime they want. They can also play volleyball, and badminton on their respective courts. So many inter-department tournaments are organized to create a sporty environment among the students. There are so many clubs and groups in our college such as GDSC, GFG for technical growth, and Abhinartan and Tarang for dance and music.

Admission

I didn't apply to any other college, at the time of the counseling I researched many colleges and I found this college most suitable for me as it provides strong industry experience and placements and it was financially accessible. The admission process is like any other government college Primarily in Engineering, you have to pass the JEE-Mains exams with good percentile and they appear in the counseling sessions of JOSAA and CSAB it that you can opt for your desired branch. After the admission, you will get a mail from the college in which all the details will be mentioned about the commencement of classes and several other details.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty members are highly knowledgeable, approachable, and very supportive. Beyond academics, they are also willing to mentor students in extracurricular projects, internships, and career advice. There is one Professor Dr. Rajesh Mahule Sir, who taught us C++, and Python so well, that helped me so much. He is a very disciplined teacher and very helpful. There is no such faculty that I didn't like, it is based on one's experience with a professor. Talking about the exam, the exams are easy-medium. If you have studied and attended classes properly, there is a high chance that you will score good marks in the exams.
