Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum prepares us for real world applications or further academic projects by giving small or mini projects each semester. This helps us to learn how the real world applications actually works. The areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods is by replacing old syllabus which are have no use in our future by new syllabus in new subjects which helps us for future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise fees we have to pay is approximate about 30000. This including all tuition fees, admission fees, lab fees, and the other compulsory charges during the course completion as per the university rules. The tuition fees is around 12000 which we are getting by application of scholarship. There is no concession for any category all must have to pay the same amount of money, the help of category is useful only at the time of admission.

Campus Life

3

There are very different kinds of clubs available in our university, students can easily apply based on their interests and if they want to learn new skills. The yearly sport festivals is organized each year in which students get the medals and trophies.

Admission

Previously i applied for Rungta college of engineering which is located in the capital of chhattisgarh called Raipur before i get admitted in Guru ghasidas university, but in Rungta college it is a private college with high amount of fee they are needed. After than i get admitted in GGU i left the further process of admission in Rungta college as GGU is a central university of chhattisgarh which is having a good name in other states.

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio is in one faculty there is 75 students which is not bad i think. The faculty to student relationship is quite impressive the student can easily approach any faculty face-to-face or by texting them in social media account. There are two internal assessment and one end semester examination is conducting each semester.

Interview Experience

4

Firstly we have to clear the JEE mains examination which is conducted two times per year, we can give twice or once depending upon person to person if we give twice the result would be compare to both the attempts and give the final results which attempts have high scores. After getting the scores there is a national level counselling conducted which are JOSAA and CSAB and after that a spot counselling is conducted by the particular universities if the seats are vacant than by via youtube or any social media platform we can get informed and get enrolled on that. Than in counselling by the JEE MAINS scores the students get admitted with the help of their particular caste certificate or category.

Night Life

3

There is small gym available in the university campus, one canteen and two small shops or cafeterias available in the university. There is separate hostels available for the particular years and the hostels is quite new and good. There is no hangout places inside or outside the university the students have to go to the city.

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

Placement Experience:

Placements at SSIPMT Raipur are pretty good. Students become eligible from 6th semester for campus placements. Companies that visit: TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, etc. They mostly offer roles like software developer, support engineer, tester, etc. Highest Package: ?42 LPA (off-campus international placement) Average Package: Around ?6 LPA Placement Percentage: Almost 100% for CS/IT branches if the student is active and skilled. My Future Plan: After completing my degree, I’ll try to get placed through campus first, then maybe switch later for better opportunities or prepare for higher studies if needed.

The placements are not at all good here, the highest package ever is 7.5LPA and the lowest is 1.25LPA so the average usually comes around 2.5LPA which is not enough with the current inflation rates of our country. And they don't get very big companies to come for the hiring.

Placements are decent. It doesn't not matter from which branch you are . If you have skills and have a cgpa of above 7-7.5 most companies allow students from every branch to sit for placements. If you are decent in studies and you managed to brush up your skills in these four years . You will grab a good package despite whatever your branch is.
