Big campus 667 acres very much things to explore
Amazing library very good facilities and many books available

Management time tables aren’t much punctual

I didnt applied to any of other college because this is the best college as per my needs I applied at samarth portal paid fees then after merit list released i paid the semester fees then submitted the docs and then i was selected and from 25 the classes were commenced

All Faculties enough qualified and Available for each student to provide their support
Departmental library includes almost all necessary books and journals
Punctuality of the department and their faculty

Caffetaria doesn't have much food varieties
Transport system is not fully organised and payable.

It's Location since it is located in Bilaspur and High court of Chhattisgarh is itself located here so internship and legal experience will be maximized. I applied for BHU but wouldn't able to make becoz of Cutoff . One can get admission in this college and course via giving Cuet exam with General Test paper. After that make registration through smarth portal and as per category wise cutt off one can take admission here

Life in Electronic Department in Guru Ghasidas University.

Likes

Our college has has a central library so you can access almost every book needed.
The campus is very good, spacious, greenery, fresh air. Most the people are of friendly nature.
Some Faculty are very good and well qualified, and with good teaching methods and also have a good relationship with students, they are always open and eager to guide and help you.

Dislikes

Here do not come with hope of placement, most of the students are preparing for gate exam. No support is provided for placement.
The campus may not have drinking water sometimes, you may see broken board in class.
The coarse curriculum is very rigorous, there is exam every month.

Admission:

I got confirmed application in other Central University of different states but since I am from Chhattisgarh so I took this university and also I got admission to top state colleges of my state, but I prefer this university or state because it is central, for entering into this college you have to give exam and you can go through josa counselling or sees have counselling, you have to be 12th pass and for josa 75% is required in 12th, hot general category the cut off is 85% tile.

The things that I like are workshops and seminars that are held for students. These are national level seminars and every students should benefit from that
Since it's government University that too Central fees is minimum for everything and it is very affordable for everyone.
The 10/- rupees meal that's provided known as Swabhiman thaali. You get a full plate meal which is affordable and sufficient as well

Dislikes

The thing I dislike most are the distance between departments. Students that have classes in different departments have to walk up to those departments for classes and it's tiresome. Not everyone has a vehicle.
Some departments still need a lot of renovation and maintenance as for the labs and availablity of equipments and working apparatus.
As it is a central university, not much of enjoyment is promoted so there are fests but not the type you may be expecting

Admission:

I applied for SRM UNIVERSITY in Chennai and then SHIMLA university and Modi University when I filled for CUET . My decision to choose this college was for various reasons. First it is closer to my home which my parents wanted . Second it is a Central University and third few of my seniors studied here which made me go for this college as well

Campus Life, Courses & More : A review of GGV Bilaspur

Likes

In our college students of every area comes and environment is truly very enjoyable
Almost all the department have their own building
Our college includes many social programs like swabhiman Thali where we get food for nominal charge of 10 rs .

Dislikes

Every other department is far off from the other department. A student without any transportation mean will suffer alot
No bus service although there is a e richsaw run by the Volenteers of NSS

Admission:

This college is the only central university on Chhattisgarh.It stands out every other college in chhattisgarh. The NAAC rating of GGU is A++. All this makes it a easy choice for any student . I had applied to many other central university of other states and I got confirmed seat in them except the DUs so I choose the my home state college as it was near my home . I was unable to get seat in DU as my CUET score was not that much . I had not prepared for the CUET examination because I was preparing for my SSB interview. I could have done well. To get admission in UG in GGV we have to give CUET - UG examination which is taken by NTA which is accepted by all central university and DUs including BHU . Students passing their 12 exam are eligible to aplly. After giving the CUET examination we had to register in the GGV site for registration in the desired stream . Then a CRL was released and students were called I got admission in first councelling .

My experience at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya has been quite wide and varied. Positively, I liked the strong faculty and quality of teaching here.
Faculty and Teaching: The faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable. They guide and help the students very well.
Placement Services: The university also does a good job in placement services. They provide information to students about internships

Dislikes

I think the campus facilities at the university need improvement. In particular, the library and laboratories need some improvements
The infrastructure in the university campus needs some improvement. For example, some classrooms and dormitories are old and need repairs.
The ratio of girls and boys in Guru Ghasidas University is approximately 1:2.

My name had also come up, but after seeing such a good education system of Guru Ghasidhas University, I chose Guru Ghasidhas University,y where equal education is provided to all students.

My side

Likes

The campus was good environmentally, I mean the greenary and ponds and even a lake and some wildlife
The cultural groups were a lot and amazing too
The size of campus was huge around 800 acres

Dislikes

The Faculties, they were just there, most of them from Quota No Merit
No support from Placement cells in terms of opportunities
The infrastructure is in a sad state, the funding is a lot but goes to deep pockets

Admission:

I applied for about 70 colleges in JOSSA, I got SLIET Longowal in Punjab but I was getting mechanical there hence I chose Guru Ghasidas University and here I got Information Technology, the only basis of admission is JEE rank, no PI or tests

Campus is so beautiful, green and so big.
Swaabhiman Thali Program ~ food program i.e plate of food in rs 10.
Cheap transportation available in campus.

Dislikes

Some teachers are too chill that sometimes the syllabus is inconplete
Girls to boy ratio is low in pharmacy i.e there are less girls in pharma
Education can be made more interactive by more frequency of practicals

Admission:

I chose this college because of the low fees and also I wanted to explore this city. The campus is so beautiful, and also there are many visiting and travelling places here. The examination process is smooth after selection and also the selection is merit based. There are also some category Kota by which you can be selected.

Good college

Likes

The fee structure of our engineering department is not very high, a middle class family can easily admit their child.
The girls-boys ratio is quite good rather than being in the engineering department.
There is very interesting clubs are available in the university in which students can develop any skills by their choice.

Dislikes

As university campus is very large or big there is no arrangement of any free buses or rickshaw available by the university.
I dislike about the washrooms available in the old buildings they are very dirty and bad smell is passing always.
Internship and placements for engineering department is not good

Admission:

Previously i applied for Rungta college of engineering which is located in the capital of chhattisgarh called Raipur before i get admitted in Guru ghasidas university, but in Rungta college it is a private college with high amount of fee they are needed. After than i get admitted in GGU i left the further process of admission in Rungta college as GGU is a central university of chhattisgarh which is having a good name in other states.
