Main thing in any engineering college is placement.. Our college placements are very good
Nature of students here is very good.. Most of the students's nature is very friendly.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are worst..Also authority behavior is very bad
College faculties nature is not so good. They always targets a particular student.
Mess facility is very bad.. Food served here is very unhealthy.

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college is very good it is around 10 lpa including all branches for CSE it is around 20 lpa for ECE it is around 18 lpa and for Electrical it is around 15 LPA and talking about placement I think from 7 semester we got placement offers and we can take placement office till 8 semester it is around 400

Placements are just mind blowing and you can get relief for your stable future.
Alumni network of 102 years of PEC which gives very good confections in big MNC's
PEC's brand value in North helps grabbing many deals if you organize any event or even startup.

Dislikes

PEC's Campus is very small and old need some reconstruction
Hostels are very poor, TOP colleges of India can't have these type of living conditions
Teachers are not much skilled for teacher though they have excellent knowledge

Placement Experience:

I have given 10/10 on placements and really placements are just of IIT levels, Overall average was 16.7LPA and for CSE it was 25LPA, ECE 18.7LPA, EE 15.3LPA, so placements are excellent, only the TOP 5 NITs can compete for PEC in terms of placements, Highest On campus was 83LPA which was given to 5 students, companies like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon regularly visit campus for placements and internships. So if you enjoy and do some hard work side by side you will easily grab a good placement here.

My important review for Future Generations of PEC

Likes

I liked the colleges culture of organizing fests and spots activities annually.
I like the library here, because it is very big and full of good books
I like the teachers and their way of teaching.

Dislikes

75% compulsory attendance and strictness for it
Less girls ratio, we have less privileges to converse with girls

Placement Experience:

The placements here are well and good and decent enough. We have a CDGC department in our college which is there to help students with their placements. 7th and 8th-semester students are eligible for campus placements. More than 150 companies visited. 90% of people here are placed well. My plan after my degree is to be a CEO of big MNCs and software companies.

Overall pec is nice college

Likes

Cultural clubs and technical clubs are good
Meals provided in mess is of average quality
Avg. Placement of college is 13 lakhs which is quite high

No night mess facility is there in the hostel
Girls to boys ratio is very less which is not so good
Infrastructure is not so well in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty to student ratio is about 30-40 The teaching faculty is very nice and cooperative and holds good qualifications The course curriculum is not so very cool as the rating will be 7 out of 10. Getting a pass is easier and exams are held in two parts first is a mid-semester exam and the other is an end-semester exam in a semester.

Punjab engineering college is best known for its excellent placement records over the years so 6th semester is intership semester in which you have to do a compulsory internship and in 7 th semester you become eligible for campus placement Famous companies like jp Morgan, Amazon, Apple, airbus, arsesium, Accenture etc come for hiring. The highest package offers were around 64 lakh by apple and the average was around 13.5 LPA Almost everyone lands a job till the end of 8 8th semesters.

I like this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go abroad so this course is best for it. Teaching methods of college was super I think in a week so much difficult that we get any free period all teachers come to college regularly and student are also so good so our teachers have no problem on teaching time. The exam is not so hard but minimum difficult and my score in my 2 years was in 1 year my score 88 % in 2 years my score was 93%.
