- Scholarship: this college have really great facility of scholarships for needy people.
- Faculty to student ratio is great and small strength class provide a great personalized experience and teaching to students .

- I think that they lag in their way of teaching.
- Hostel condition especially for the first year hostel which is provided that is shivalik hostel is worst

- infrastructure and labs of this college is poor because of old college . it is 100 year old college .
- subjects in first year disappoint me as being this much reputed college , teaching ED , environmental science etc makes no sense .
- they can really improve the campus by establishing modern technology in labs and improving the infrastructure .

college offers on campus placements from 4th year of the course . main companies are : Bains , JP Morgan , MaKinzey , PhonePe , Amazon , Apple visits here . highest and average package are around 60 lakh and 17 lakh respectively . 90 % students got placements this year .

Overall 70% Students gets placed in 2025 in my branch civil around 33% students gets placed and for cse around 90%
Average package of college is 14lpa
Average package of civil is 11lpa
Average package of cse is 17lpa
My plans after getting degree is to get a good govt job

- The fest of college was good and amazing.
- My roomate is very nice person and caring.
- Some teachers are very good and teaches nicely.
Dislikes
- The mess was very poor and unhygienic, the food was very poor quality.
- The old hostel rooms are very used and rooms are a little poor.
- The hostel accountant is very bad and make new rules according to them.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is very simple and can be understand easily and it also has different grade points on different subjects . It is simple for everyone to understand and is planned very nicely which is a good thing.

- Newer made labs are quite good and nice profs for them
- Seniors are of very good nature and no ego issues

- Infrastructure is very old. Repairs are going but overall 2/5
- 75% attendance policy makes it difficult for other skills
- Some old labs, instruments dont work well. More like museums

-highest is 60-65lpa as latest and average is 12-13lpa

- Pecfest and other cultural events are very good.
- As this college is in main city, the exposure of beautiful city is fantastic
- Hostel Life is very good and ragging is not even seen in the campus seniors are very helpful
Dislikes
- Bad condition of hostel and bathrooms and cleanliness
- Small campus and decent to low infrastructure
- No reservation for girls that drops the gender ratio and few participants of girls in events
Placement Experience:
Placement are provided by the college and Good offers are made by the companies.
Like in cse , ece and ee have good placements but in lower branch percentage placements is a bit lower, but overall average and median package is good ( 70%)
Highest placement was 61 lpa of 2025 median was 13 lpa.

- GREAT CAMPUS . It's beautifully created , lush green campus , 150 acres fully planned , livable , clean , and sustainable campus .
- STRICT CURRICULUM . The studies here are done strictly . There is a 75% attendance criteria also . The curriculum is also carried out very fast .
- GREAT PEERS . You will find lot's of students who are very serious about studying , and building a career. That's extremely motivating .
Dislikes
- HIGH FEES - 12 Lakhs is still a higher fees for many families out there . Its absolutely unacceptable for a 100 years old Govt funded college to have such high fees structure .
- Some Professors cant teach . I highly respect them too , but they are not really good at expressing clearly .
- Very low diversity in people . Mostly from Punjab and Haryana only .
Placement Experience:
placement stats of my college is great. Better than most of the colleges out there . Even better than many NITs and IIITs , with an avg package of 14-16 LPA . And every year the Median and Avg package is increasing . Highest package till now - 83 LPA .
Students are allowed for campus placements after 5th semister
All the big companies out there , from Google , microsoft , amazon to Delloete , JP Morgan , AmericanExpress , to seimens, oracle , L&T , all companies come here .
around 70-75% students gets placed from here
My plan is to get the highest paying job offer possible for me , that's it .

- Pec has amazing fest named PECFEST it is one of the biggest fest of north india many singers come many Competition are organized by student of pec
- college life is amazing here and better than all of nits in near region
- placements are very good for these colleg even this year ee branch have better placements in pec than in nit kkr
Dislikes
- the main problem is the students of Chandigarh there is huge rank difference they get this college at lower ranks so peer group is not good sometimes
- also another problem is the 50 percent students are from chandigarh they up down from there home daily if you are from chd u will not get hostels
Placement Experience:
placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college
