Course Curriculum Overview

According to my rank in jee mains 2025 the best college I get through CSAB counselling is Punjab engineering college Chandigarh electrical branch. Exam timing are very bad multiple quiz viva on same day

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As it depends on branch in branch like computer science data science artificial intelligence there is a good internships but for other branches like electrical and other there is quite hard to get internships

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students get eligible for placement Companies like google, microsoft amazon apple and Flipkart comes to our college Highest package is 83 lpa and average is 12 lpa Around 70 percent student are placed

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid almost 1 lakh per semester fees for the course and here is no fee waiver for sc and st category and obc candidates in my sight there is no as such financial aid for students and hostel feess is around 90000 per year

Campus Life

Campus Life is overall good good canteen Every year a fest is organised named as pecfest Almost all kind of books are there in Library Huge sports range such as badminton Cricket football table tennis etc

Hostel Facilities

There is a fan a 2 chairs 1 table 2 single bed 2 rack and 1 cupboard As hostel food is not worth we pay for it sometimes a hair piece also comes to food Registration process is simple just pay fees and give some mandatory documents

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

I applied for nit jalandhar instrumentation and control branch but I didn't get it because of the jee mains rank Admission process is through jossa ans csab counselling and quota are also there such as defence sports etc

Faculty

In our course some teachers are very good amsone are average and some are very bad Our physics teachers is very good and supportive Maths teacher is also good IEEE sir is like of students kind EVs teacher is so rude

Night Life

There is a gym in our college big library a Nescafe hut a market hostel timing blfor boys is 10:00 and for girls is 9:00 Outside college there are a lot of hangout places such as sukhna lake rock garden etc

Amazing

Placement Experience:

For 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements 60% of students are placed. I am placed in college duniya . In my college the highest package is 50 lakhs and average is 10 lakh. After degree i am planning to join corporate and get experinece in company.

PEC from a student's lens

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are overall decent. Some students usually the top 10 percenrt students get high packages north of 15 lakhs and some even get 35-70 lakhs. but this number is very small and most students get around 4-10 lpa. around 60 to 70 percent students get placed combining on and off campus placements.

Ground Reality

Course Curriculum Overview:

The whole curriculum focuses on the cramming power, not on the practical knowledge. Students have to do the tech stack on their own for the placements. Students must do the internship so that he/she will gain some practical knowledge and a chance to gain hands-on experience.

CHITKARA - NEW LIFE BEGINNING

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chitkara University are decent for CSE AI ML. Students are allowed to sit for campus drive from about 7th sem. Many tech and service firms visit like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and some product firms too. Offer count is good for CSE branch each year. Avg package is near 4 to 6 LPA for most roles, and top package can go much higher for select students in dev and AI roles. Around 70 to 80 percent students get some offer if they meet skill and marks rules. The place cell gives test prep, mock talk, and resume help. After my degree, my plan is to get a dev or AI role first, then grow skills and later move to a higher tech role or MS study.

EXPLORING MY POTENTIAL

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester (3rd year) onwards, and internships often start from the same time. The placement season runs in the final year with companies visiting from October to March. Big companies like Amazon, Adobe, Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Microsoft and Oracle come for drives, and many smaller firms also hire. Highest packages reported recently are up to ?1.11 crore (mainly from Amazon), and average packages across engineering are around ?8–10 lakh per annum. Placement percentage is pretty high (80–95%) if a student actively participates and prepares well. Many students get placed on Day 1 itself during drives. Most offers are in software development, IT, data roles, consulting and product teams. Top companies also give super dream offers (10 LPA+) to a good chunk of students. In short: campus placements are strong for CSE/AI-ML if I prepare well. The support from the placement cell helps with training and interview prep, but final results still depend largely on my skills.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Is pec Chandigarh worth it

I applied for Maulana Azad institute of technology Bhopal but I didn't get branch higher than mechanical for my rank so I considered this college this college has great placement records and good legacy so this was a safe option for me and the location of this colleges just perfect for me I was also spectacle about getting admission into NIT Jaipur under chemical branch but I wanted circuital branch and the electrical branch of this college is better than most of the college in the same league so I choose this college for this particular reason I got rejected in maulana Azad institute of technology for my low rank I wanted at least a circle branch so I didn't get admission there basically you give exam JEE mains to be specific and then you get your rank and just a basic process you enroll in juice accounts in counselling you get this college there are other course like be designing so you have to give respective exam for that course...Read More
