detailed honest review about PEC Chandigarh

course and curriculum is considerably relevant in the current time . AI and ML is being taught in the couse which prepares us for the upcoming AI world . they can improve teaching method by introducing new and modern technology and removing irrelevant subjects in first year . exams are good as of now

There are many internship facilities available in the campus . in CSE department , average stipend is around 50 - 60 K per month . main companies offering internship is Maruti Suzuki , PhonePe , Flipkart , Amazon etc

college offers on campus placements from 4th year of the course . main companies are : Bains , JP Morgan , MaKinzey , PhonePe , Amazon , Apple visits here . highest and average package are around 60 lakh and 17 lakh respectively . 90 % students got placements this year .

year wise fees is around 188000 rupees per year . it includes everything in it . admission fees also gets converted into fees . for other categories which is reserved category , fees is around 94000 per year . there are few scholarships in our college by SBI and PEC which are however only valid for students belonging to the family with lower annual income .

an Annual fest named PECfest happens every year where many stars visits the campus and entertains the students . libraray is big and large . classroomas have all necessary facilities like AC , wifi , smartboards etc . there are many active clubs in campus which makes the college life more interactive .

hostels are poor in the facilities . they only offer a common wifi , fan , basic lighting , balconies and a mess facility . menu is good but meal quality is average . fees is around 75000 rs per year and 4350 for mess per month .

I applied in other colleges through jossa and csab . i choose this college as this was the best college and branch combination on the basis of my rank in JEE . CSE in PEC is too good option . for general category male student : cutoff goes near 15000 rank in jee mains and for chandigarh quota it is around 22000 in same .

faculty is easily approachable and really helpful to the students . in my opinion mrs Veena garg and Miss Sumegha Vaid mam is one of the best faculty . i disliked kanika mam as she does not make much effort in clearing the concepts of subject . there are mid sem and end sem along with quizes per semester . they are doable as far as difficulty is concerned .

college itself has a gymnasium , library , a small market (PEC market) , many sports grounds are there for after class shedules . there are 4 boys and 2 girls hostels denying entry after 10 pm in night . yes , the locality is safe to roam for everyone .
