IIT Patna Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the third semester students become eligible for campus placement there are many companies visit our campus and many of the offers made by their companies like Amazon Facebook Tesla Bharat petroleum LNT etc

According to my knowledge after the 6th semester students are eligible for placements. Google, Microsoft, Amazon and other companies visit our college and over 500 students were placed. Among them the least package was 12LPA and highest was 60LPA. ALMOST all students got placed, my plans after getting degree is to work as a software engineer, and settle well.

From the 6th semester onwards, the students become eligible for placements. College provides a good number of placement opportunities. All companies are MNC's and provide decent salary packages. The placement department is also very helpful with interaction with companies so that students will not feel any stress.

Campus placement is started from the 6th semester but when companies visit they have their specific requirements in cpi manner and they only allow students according to them. Companies like Amazon, flipkart , Microsoft, TATA , Bajaj , L&T etc . Approx 150 companies are comes last year and they provide approx 400 offers Heights package is about 80 lakh of cse student and average package are approx 22 lakh. Ig mostly students are placed only those who are not sitting for placement are not placed. 80 -90% are placed. I plan to prepare for UPSC after getting a degree. As I belong to the middle class ...I have seen the ground level of our country to do something for our state, and country and to make myself happy. I'm going into this field

Recruiters' primary focus for the 2018-20 batch was technological disciplines including Btech and MTech, although I believe M.Sc. students also received some excellent offers. Due to the robust incentives IIT Patna got, we were able to retain an average wage of INR 14.7 lpa despite the presence of 95+ recruiters in the round. Big manufacturers from the science, IT, and industrial industries were in attendance.

In my batch, out of 64 MTech students only 42 got placed in which I was the one. The highest CTC offered was 59 LPA to only 3 students. My college has a dedicated training and placement cell, which focus to train students for best during placement interviews. The top visiting companies are Google, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Flipkart, Amazon India, Infotech etc.

Provision of well defined future opportunities after the course is provided at the campus. Last year, 125 companies visited the campus for placements. Highest CTC went to Rs. 54.57 LPA. Around 140 students were placed in B.Tech batch. I too sat for the placements and got job offers from more than two companies. Top recruiters were Google, Microsoft, DE Shaw, Amazon, Games Kart, Condensation.

There was a hype created weeks before the placement week among students. Hustle-bustle, students preparing for the jobs in the libraries was a common sight. In my batch, Aurus Networks, Google, Amazon India, Indian Navy, Tricon Infotech, Microsoft, IDC, Indian Navy, Morgan Stanley (Mumbai), Arista Networks, Amazon( Hyderabad), Flipkart among the others visited the campus. Highest CTC was Rs. 50.76 LPA. I also participated in this week and got placed in a decent company.

The college's placement rate is unquestionably among the highest in the industry. I chose IIT Patna for a variety of reasons, including the college's placement record. The college achieves a placement rate of 100%. The highest placement offer was 55 LPA, and the average placement offer at the college is roughly 15 LPA, which is a great return on investment. We have the possibility to work for Microsoft, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Sony, Adobe, and many more organizations as a result of the college placement push.

The college regularly works on placement and the college placement committee is dedicated to the placement technique and constantly focuses on improving the placement quality. The college manages to maintain a record of 100% placement and the highest pavement offers goes up to 61 LPA and the average salary offers is around 20 LPA. Google, Microsoft, DE Shaw, Amazon, Games Kart, Rakuten are among the college's top recruiters and more than 100+ companies visit the campus during the placement drive.
