MIT-WPU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Considering the current scenario of the campus, the life on campus is avg. The Placements are good for Computer/IT students. Rest end up doing Masters or Switching their domains. If u r having a motive of going for Higher studies then MIT would be a food choice as the life is a bit relax in MIT.

One of the best in the city, highly recommended by Ex-Students, ECE Course is in high demand and interesting, Engineering and ECE department of MIT-WPU is known for their highly qualified profeesors. Campus and facilities are also one of the best in the city.

The Faculty at MIT-WPU are highly competent. Almost all of them are well-experienced PhD's, having teaching experience of more than 10-15 years. Second, The campus. I swear, When I was present there for my admissions round, the campus is just eye-catching. The globe at the centre of the campus is the main point of attraction here. The dome-shaped Central Library of the University, has just infinite number of books for every program say Pharmacy, Engineering, MBA, etc. The university also has a lot of student clubs which encourage students to socialize, work together in a community and teaches many other things. Apart from academics, The university also supports more than 80 sports here at the campus and the annual Sports Summit, which is held in September every year, is the biggest sports summit in Pune. Last but not the least, The institute is ranked 4th best in Pune for its placements. Last year, highest placement package for a CSE engineering student was about 28 L.P.A and the average package lies nearly about 6-8 LP.A.

The campus is good and the faculty is very helpful.

Overall the college was one of the premier institutes in Maharashtra. All the facilities are up to the mark. The placements are also very good. The faculties are very educated and highly proficient.

The hostel mess is not that great. The location is a very prime one but the traffic during peak hrs is too much to bear. No Xerox shops nearby. The fees is expensive. They have a good quality auditorium.

Actually I will be neutral in my opinion about my college. Due to the technical clubs most of my time is spent productively. But what college offers is very less with the amount of fees they take. The sports infrastructure is not up to the mark. No badminton court is available as I like to play badminton.

The development fees is taken every year but no such useful development is done for students. Only buildings are built new construction will be there and this is of no use to student. Labs are same. Same old computers.

The quality and quantity of companies visiting the campus are increasing with every passing year and are expected to fare quite well in the coming years. College is continuously making new collaborations with the companies and also providing opportunities for internships for students.

Would not recommend anyone to join this misorganised, useless carriculum college.
