Remarks

Overall the college was one of the premier institutes in Maharashtra. All the facilities are up to the mark. The placements are also very good. The faculties are very educated and highly proficient.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum and exam structure are designed by the University of Pune, which is governed by the state government. The course curriculum is strictly designed to enhance industry-specific knowledge and it's very helpful in campus recruits. The exam structure is stringent and it helps to develop the students for any tough conditions. Overall the course curriculum and exam structure are satisfactory as compared to other institutes.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement cell of the college is one of the best promising parts. The placement cell of the college is very interactive and helpful with the students. The placement percentage of the college is more than 90 percent. Students can also opt for foreign higher education.

College Events

3.5

Many technical events such as robotic, technical fests, cultural fests, and industry on-campus type of events are hosted by the college. College was the host of the international robotics championship in 2014 and also hosted many national-level events. MIT has won the national robotics championship once.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. It was around 1 Lakh 6 thousand per year in 2011. The same structure continued for the rest of the years. There are no additional fees paid in order to secure admission. The college provides full transparency in the fee breakup.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, I have opted for an education loan. The college provided all the relevant documents required for the education loan to the bank. The college also helped in providing relevant documents for my scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Life in the college was too good. There were many cultural events, annual sports, etc to participate in and enjoy. The gender ratio was well balanced. There were many debate and robotics competitions held in the college. Students from many races and religions were present in the college. There was no discrimination.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes, I have opted for a hostel. The hostel rooms are very nice well acquainted with the facilities and all the required amenities such as a generator, water, etc. It was double and triple sharing. Rooms are alloted first come first serve basis.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students were very helpful in the study and all kinds of activities. The seniors were too good to help in any kind of circumstances. They also helped the students in practicals and exams.

Admission

I applied through the DTE admission process based on the marks obtained in AIEEE 2011. Step 1: Applied on the website of DTE Step 2: Went for verification on the specified verification center. Step 3: Filled the choice of college and stream from the list with the order of priority Step 4: Colleges were alloted based on choice and marks by DTE. Step 5: Reported to the allotted college. Step 6: Followed the college admission procedure and got admitted to the college

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is highly skilled and proficient in teaching. They share their industrial experience and have a very good correlation with the subjects. They adhere to the guideline of the university and standards of education. The teachers are very experienced and very good with practical skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
