Remarks
Overall college is good. If you have come here to learn then you would get to learn. It provides you that exposure to go and explore new field. Profeesors are supportive and knowledgeable . So overall it is a good college in pune.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is decided by the pune university, therefore it is upto the mark. It can be hectic some times but overall I would say it gives you the proper time to complete your course work and explore new things which interests you more. Curriculum is not research driven though.
Placement Experience
Placement is good but not great. I would say if you want a great placement then you have to be on your own. But everyone gets placed here in computer and IT branch.
College Events
TESLA - national level technical festival, then cultural fests are also celebrated. The college puts more emphasis on national students congress and this event is celebrated with the great efforts. The national level sports summit is also organized every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Recently they have moved out of the pune university and now it comes under the MIT world peace university. Hence the fee structure has surged significantly. Earlier it was affordable but now it is bit on the expensive side. Nonetheless they are improving the facilities and exposure for the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I didn't opted for any scholarship. As I said the fees were affordable at my time because it was under pune university.
Campus Life
Overall campus life is excellent I would say. I have made a great set of friends here. The exposure to the extracurricular is also great. Labs are decent if not great. The college is well known for acing in ROBOCON event. Gender diversity is also balance on the campus. Overall you would find decent crowd on the campus.
Alumni/Alumna
Most of the people from college goes to abroad for doing MS. Hence if you are going abroad then you would definitely find the great network of MIT alumni in the USA to be specific. But in india the network is not that strong I feel.
Admission
JEE Mains & 12th Boards score. The DTE releases the rank list based on that rank we can apply to this college. DTE decides the admissions to these colleges based on merit list. If you have the DTE maharashtra rank in top 3000. Then you can get admission in this college.
Faculty
Faculty is good and they support students in their activity. There are teachers with PHDs. Hence I would say students who are more interested in research field can approach the profeesors easily and do a projects with them to get the overall experience of research driven projects.
