MIT WPU in a Nutshell

Dislikes

The fees are a little high than the rest of the colleges.
As it's a deemed university, the college exams and holiday schedule does not match with the government.

I have been paying 3.15 lakhs per annum. There is a scholarship for the student who have high ranks and they recieve consessions for the same. There is some quota for the admission for students with caste benefits. Those students need to submit required documents to the management for verification purpose.

The year wide fees I have paid is 3.20 lac and for four years it is approximately 12.80 lac There are no extra fees except exam fees The exam fees is 500 for each and every subject you pursue for the exam Some of my friends have scholarships based on their marks in 12 and jee or mcet they were given 100% scholarships until they get Backlog I have also gotten 31000 scholarship in my first year for getting good marks in jee

One of the best places for mechanical in Pune (2nd to coep ofc)

The tuition fees for this year for mechanical is 3.15 lakhs. If you add caution fees, admission fees, development fees and other charges it goes to around an additional 20-30k. If you're going through management quota then out here it's like the better inside contact you have, the lesser will be the amount you have to pay. I know guys who've gotten admission in ECE by paying 3-4 lakhs in management and I also know guys who've paid 14-15 lakhs to get in ECE so it's mostly contact driven. For SC/ST caste it's somewhere around a lakh for a year. If you score well in your jee mains or cet they offer you scolarships based on merit only for the first year. If you get a 95+ you're given a 50% off, if you get around 90-95, it's a 40%, 85-90 is a 30%, 80-85 is a 20% and the last which is a 10% off you get when you have around 75-80. However these scolarships last only for the first semester fees and only if you score above an 8 gpa does the scholarship move forward to the next sem.

The fee structure of the college is quite simple as it goes for 315000 for a year for the course I am pursuing (B.TECH. MECHANICAL CORE) , which you can pay in 2 installments for 1 year the installment will be 1.65 L +1.5L , and for 2 year it will be 1.9L+1.25L . It includes all the tuition fee , service fee , and other compulsory chargers , also to mention it doesn't include the hostel charges , the scholarship offered by college is also quite good if you have above 90%ile in jee mains or advance you can get 50% scholarship .

Don't just look for studies in colleges.

There are two instalments allowed. One before the commencement date and the other before 90 days of the commencement date. There are very high chances of getting a scholarship and they are based on jee mains or MHT CET scores accordingly.

The fees are 310000 per year. You get carried scholarships here depending upon your marks in JEE OR MHTCET you can also get a 100% scholarship for all 4 years. Campus placements are also good. It's just you have to maintain your CGPA and make s good CV.
